Gimme that glow!

Made by Charlotte Tilbury, a high end skincare brand everyone always raves about, this serum comes with a pretty hefty price tag. I had high hopes for this magical potion, housed in such a pretty glass bottle with a faceted intend on the bottom that catches and reflects the light, accentuated with r...

Let me just say, I had high hopes for Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, but I wasn't ready to have my entire life transformed by a tiny bottle of sparkly liquid. If this serum isn't bottled magic, then I don't know what is. The first time I used it, I half expected a wizard to appear, wave a wand, and grant me eternal youth. While no wizard showed up (yet), what did happen was close enough: my skin literally drank this elixir up like it had been parched in the desert for years. One drop of this serum and BAM—I looked like I had been reborn as some ethereal, glowing goddess. My skin was instantly plumper, smoother, and, dare I say it—radiating light, like I had somehow been kissed by the skincare gods. Let's talk texture: It's lightweight, silky, and glides on like a dream. None of that sticky, heavy nonsense that makes you feel like your face just did hot yoga. This serum is more like the skincare equivalent of a fine silk robe—luxurious, but without even trying. And the glow. Oh, the glow! It's like someone installed a soft-focus filter on my face. My skin looks lit from within, as if I've been sipping celestial water and meditating under the stars. Fine lines? I don't know her anymore. Dry patches? Never met them. My face is smoother than a freshly polished crystal, which feels appropriate, given the serum's name. Plus, can we talk about the bottle for a second? It looks like it was plucked straight out of a royal vanity—just sitting on my bathroom shelf makes me feel like I'm one step away from sipping tea with the queen. The crystals in the formula add that extra sprinkle of "Is this skincare or sorcery?" Long-term, I swear I've started aging in reverse. My friends keep asking if I've had "work done." No, Karen, it's just Charlotte's Magic Serum—although it might as well be sorcery for how youthful my skin is looking these days. In conclusion: If you're on the fence about trying this serum, just do it. Yes, it's an investment, but you're investing in the kind of glow that has people thinking you've got a secret skincare fairy on speed dial. And honestly, can you put a price on feeling like an ageless, dewy goddess? I think not.

Holy Grail

Now this is definitely worth the splurge! It's one of those serums that feels milky and luxurious. The ingredients are really what make this serum unique. It has a mix of Vitamin C, niacinamide, and polyglutamic acid, each targeting different skin concerns. Vitamin C and niacinamide together bring in brightness and even out skin tone. Polyglutamic acid, which is like an ultra hydrating hyaluronic acid, keeps moisture locked in for a dewy look. Also, the presence of glutathione acts as an antioxidant, neutralizing free radicals and helping to maintain a youthful glow. It also contains botanical extracts, like Replexium, a peptide blend that claims to help with firmness and reduce wrinkles, which helps skin look and feel a bit more plump over time. If you're sensitive to fragrance, just a heads up that this serum does contain parfum, so it might not be ideal for extremely sensitive skin. I have sensitive/acne prone skin and I haven't noticed any breakouts or irritation myself. The texture is lightweight and a little goes a long way. Not only does it layer well under makeup, but it actually works really well as a makeup primer too. Overall, I'd say it's worth its price tag and if you're willing to splurge on a serum, this should be this one. It combines multiple skincare benefits in one step, and it's truly unlike any other serum I've tried. I would confidently recommend it.

Great milky serum

Another amazing product I got the opportunity to test for my honest review. This along side the magic cream truly creates a magic duo. I apply the serum before I use my magic cream, the vitamin c benefits mean I can forego one serum, and I'm all about combining and minimising skincare steps. She's a good send in a perfectly curated bottle. The serum isn't too thick for its milky look, she seeps into the skin with zero reactions to my already intensive skin cycling regime. She leaves a glow and makes my skin feeling wonderful. It's been a month so far so the extra benefits of anti-aging are still in its infancy but I'm loving the products and will continue to use and eventually buy!

I really like this serum . It goes on the skin like butter. The skin soaks it up very well. I love it's not heavy , it's silky smooth. It smells absolutely amazing and isn't to powerful. Made with high quality ingredients. The price is kind of high for this product. I can find stuff just as good for a cheaper price. The overall look and concept is beautiful.
