Great for my slightly fine wavy hair

I've never had much luck with round brushes - they never seemed to have a balance between gripping my hair enough and not being to grippy as to get stuck. I recently read a tip that if the brush tangles up on you to easily, you probably need to go to a larger diameter brush. I bought a larger 3" bru...sh, which helped some, but I still couldn't get a good grip with the nylon bristles (Chi brand). The mixed bristles on this brush give just enough grip that I can hold the hair taught but slide it through smoothly for a great blow out. I also like the feel of the handle and find the brush well balanced in my hand. I used it for the first time today, and I cannot stop touching my hair. It's the first time I've achieved a really good, silky smooth blowout on my own. Sweet sweet success, and I owe it to this brush. I do like the pick in the end of the handle (you pull it out, flip it around and stick it into the end of the handle to use it) - but I had to dig through the brushes on display in store to find one where the pick didn't slide out of the handle too easily. Not a deal killer, and you could probably use clear nail polish on the base of the pick to thicken it up so it'd hold better.
