FAQs
What hair type or length is the Ceramic + Ion Turbo Vent Combo Round Brush best for?
Its blend of ionic and 100% boar bristles helps create curls, add volume or straighten hair while eliminating frizz and flyaways for a smooth, shiny finish.
What size barrel should I pick for this brush?
The Turbo Vent Combo comes in Petite 2", Medium 2 1/2" and Grande 3 1/4". The smallest suits short hair and tight curls, the middle size suits medium to longer length, and the largest suits the longest hair and biggest, softest waves.
How do the ionic and boar bristles work together on this brush?
The Turbo Vent Combo uses a special blend of ionic bristles and 100% boar bristles. Together they help eliminate frizz and flyaways and give hair a smooth, shiny finish, while high quality tourmaline adds luster and sheen as you blow-dry.
Does the ceramic barrel help this brush dry hair faster?
Yes, the Turbo Vent Combo's ceramic-coated barrel maximizes heat for faster, better styling. Paired with the internal airflow system and large vents that maximize airflow, the line is rated for 50% faster drying.
How do I clean and maintain this round brush?
To clean the Turbo Vent Combo, wet the brush and use a damp towel to remove trapped hair from the bristles and vents. For a deeper clean, use the Olivia Garden Brush Cleaner to lift out hair and product buildup.
What's the difference between this and the Ceramic + Ion Turbo Vent Pro Shaper Brush?
Both are part of the Ceramic + Ion Turbo Vent family, but the bristles differ. The Turbo Vent Combo blends ionic and 100% boar bristles to create curls, add volume or straighten hair, while the Turbo Vent Pro Shaper uses anti-static, ion-charged bristles with comfortable ball point tips.

Great for my slightly fine wavy hair
I've never had much luck with round brushes - they never seemed to have a balance between gripping my hair enough and not being to grippy as to get stuck. I recently read a tip that if the brush tangles up on you to easily, you probably need to go to a larger diameter brush. I bought a larger 3" bru...

Poor Choice on my part
I chose this brush as my free award because it was newly added to the rewards list. Unfortunately my choice was a poor one. The moment I put it in my hair it tangled up. I repeatedly tried to use it (as I do my other round ion brush) to dry the ends of my hair, but no matter how dry or wet my hair w...

Hair Brush
Yes, I've bought many hairbrushes but this one is the best one so far. I have fine hair & it combs out beautifully
Love it! Returned another brand and bought this!
I bought this same type of brush in a popular blue brand and returned it after a week. I didn't like how it wouldn't easily pick up small sections of hair when drying. Now this brush...exactly what I was looking for. Love it and am keeping it!
Not for Beginners
This brush works really well so long as you know how to use it. You can't use it like a round brush that only has plastic bristles — you'll pull out hair that way. Boar bristles offer a lot more tension and so there's more pull, one strong yank and you'll see hair torn out. Nylon bristles are more forgiving in this respect so if you're a beginner, I would go that route. I tried this brush out last night and my hair looks great today! Everyone has mentioned how amazing my hair looks. There is so much volume to my hair which has a fine texture. I do think that if you're looking to straighten out slightly curly or wavy hair, this will work well. However, I don't this this one will work well for people with super tight curls in their hair. My best tip is to slowly roll the hair on the brush and slowly roll it off for the first couple of passes. Once the hair is a little bit more damp than wet, you can start styling it. Boar bristle brushes always take longer to dry with but the results are so worth it!
