AlternaCaviar Anti-Aging Clinical Densifying Styling Mousse

I have very fine, thinning hair and this product works very well. I have just started trying other products in this line and have been very impressed so far.

I used curl cream for years on my fine, naturally wavy/somewhat curly hair. At 59, I've seen hair thinning and other changes from thyroid meds and age. I loved the old Purology mousse, but it was discontinued a few years back. Others make my hair feel like straw. It is hard to find a mousse that gives body AND moisture. I tried this densifying mousse and loved how it smelled and added bounce without weight. I'm not sure if it makes my hair denser, but it looks better and is shiny and full… holding my curl. My hair stays clean looking for a few days where other products do not and make it gross.

I have fine hair and a lot of it. Gray with some body. For whatever reason a little thinking going on. This mousse is perfect. Thickens, adds body and great hold. Not only leaves hair soft, but smells great too. Th mousse also goes on easy and distributes well. No sticky feeling at all. Allows for very manageable hair. I highly recommend this mousse.

Let me start by saying I ABSOLUTELY HATE MOUSSE. I am a 3b ringlet curly girl, fine - medium density and A LOT of hair. I have been curly for 6 years now fully and I have tried a ridiculous amount of curly hair products. My curl pattern and my curl texture is not often seen together I feel like. My curls are extremely soft and are naturally perfect spirilla from mid lengths to the bottom. However the top of my hair does not clump or spiral at all on its own. The softness causes the curls at the roots of my head to just sit like soft waves (closer to a 3a curl pattern. It's annoying and makes me super long hair fall incredibly flat. Which makes me look like a cabbage patch doll which I hate. My hair responds and behaves it's best with curl creams and gels with jelly like consistency. Recently I moved and because my low porosity hair these products are now too heavy without the humidity if my old climate. I had to completely switch my curl routine. I tried 3 other mousses before this ( OGX coconut curls, Camille rose spiked honey mousse, sexy hair spray mousse) I hated all of them. I always find mousses to be too crunchy, not enough hold, leaves hair dry or dull looking, or still too heavy for my hair. This mousse changed the game! This mousse reacts the same way as a curl jelly would in my hair. It makes my hair shiny, bouncy, light weight, defined and cast it leaves can be completely scrunch out with a little oil. If you need something light weight and defining please do not hesitate to buy this!!! The first time using it I followed the instruction and put an egg size amount of mousse into each side of my hair after my other styling products and it turned great but I needed more hold to make my style last my normal 4-5 days. Next time I did the same but added one extra egg size amount into my hair and perfection! I use this with the shea moisture leavin in spray (pour a nickel size amount in my hands emulsify and then finger comb into hair) followed by splitting hair in half and. Working in a quarter size of curlsmith weightless air fry cream on each section and then this mousse ( egg size amount in each side of my hair, emulsify between my hairs, praying hands method to apply to brush styles curls) then one more egg size amount scrunched into my whole head. Followed up by diffusing, oil Scrunch to break any cast and shaking out my hair with my finger from my roots to add volume and separation. Add volumizing powder or dry shampoo to roots for extra volume and then shake it out again. Perfect define curls every time!

Product works well but container I have does not foam like a mousse
