I normally don't like sugar scrubs. I find they are generally drying and sticky, and leave my skin in worse shape after using than when I started. This scrub however was immediately different at first touch. It was silky and creamy, almost felt more like a body butter with sugar in it than a sugar scrub. It was very moisturizing and left my skin moist and supple. I'm also not normally a fan of peppermint, as I find it overwhelming and a sort of harsh smell, but this was a soft, almost creamy scent. It really did put me in the holiday spirit in October lol.

I love to use exfoliation scrubs and Tree Hut shea sugar scrubs are always amazing. The Candy Cane scent smells so good. It's doesn't smell too sweet or minty. It leaves my body feeling hydrated and smooth!! Perfect scent for the holidays too!

The jar is quite large, so it should last a long time, and the cute packaging makes it especially fitting for the holiday season! While I enjoyed it, I'm not entirely sure how effective the scrub is at exfoliating. After using it several times, I didn't notice much of a difference in my skin compared to when I didn't use it.

I received this product for free from tree hut in exchange for an honest review. The size of the product is generous but I found it hard to store in my shower because of how big and bulky the container is. The product itself was good quality and has fine granules that made it very exfoliating. The candy cane scent was amazing and did linger after use. The only issue I had was I felt it left a sticky residue on my skin after use. Even after moisturizing, it felt heavy on my skin and I did not like that so I wouldn't use this again in the future.
