Shaking Didn't Help
The consistency of the product came out in different textures so I shook up the bottle. After shaking it & squirting some out, still only this oplague substance came out. I still decided to use the product. It did have a nice non flaky hold & good scent.

As a black man who has waves this product, lays down my waves, amazingly, and does not leave my hair hard or sticky. This product is truly amazing and I will purchase this on my own when I run out.

redken brews sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program in exchange for my honest review I really liked this molding paste, I usually use gel for styling my hair. But this paste really does a good job holding your hair in place.

Redden Brews Molding Paste is a great solution for taming frizz. It functions like hair gel, efficiently keeping my frizz in check. The product has a subtle soapy scent, and a little goes a long way to maintain my hair's desired look.

Have been using this molding paste on a daily basis. Doesn't leave any weird residue like other name brands in green packaging (ifykyk). I have been pleasantly surprised with the product scent, compliments my existing products.

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. I have naturally oily hair that also tends to frizz up and appear extremely fuzzy when its clean. As a result, I need to add product to my hair after washing it so that it looks good, but ideally without introducing a bunch of grease that will leave my hair looking dirty and gross by lunchtime. This molding paste does the job very well. It comes out like a cream, which makes it very easy to apply and work through damp hair, which is a plus (especially compared to molding clays and other more solid pastes). It has a subtle, but nice, scent to it, and takes the frizz out of my clean hair without matting it down with grease/oil. These are pretty ideal features. The only drawback I've experienced so far, is that the product can become separated in the tube for some reason, making it so a bunch of clear liquid comes out first instead of the actual cream/paste, which is kind of annoying (think: yellow mustard that hasn't been shaken beforehand). Overall though, I'd recommend this.
