Blue Max 4-Way Buffing Block by Flowery shapes, smoothes and buffs.
A few years ago my mom bought me a Flowery file that was super durable and had four different sides to it. I saw the brand at Ulta and was excited to try this block, kind of a larger version of my original file. I must say, this block is AWESOME! I can use it to prep my nails before nail polish but I find that I use the shiner side a ton. Makes my short nails look really healthy, super fast. It's one tool for everything which is really cool.
I purchased the 1st one because I liked the size. I did my nails once and it wasn't very effective the next time I used it. It doesn't have a strong enough grit to truly shape your nails. It's difficult to use because once your nail goes across the surface once, that portion of the file is done for. Other brands are just as affordable with more longevity. I even purchased a second one, in case the first one was a dud, it had all the same issues.
Works well to smooth out nails, but the #4 side that is supposed to shine the nails does not deliver. Still needed another product to shine the nails after using this.
The colors on the Blue Max 4-Way Buffing Block are pine green, white, charcoal, and grey -- not as lively as the Flowery 4-Way Nail Buffing Block that comes in a bag. Can't comment on the use because I returned after ordering online. Very lightweight -- a pro.
I ordered this buffing block online and when it arrived it came with two strips of step 4 and is totally missing step 3. It's safe to say that QC needs a little refresher.
It works great, I like that each side has a different grit. It wouldn't last super long but I don't buff my nails super often and it was very cheap so I don't mind
This works fairly well but the sandy surface really doesn't last beyond a few uses.
