I purchased the 1st one because I liked the size. I did my nails once and it wasn't very effective the next time I used it. It doesn't have a strong enough grit to truly shape your nails. It's difficult to use because once your nail goes across the surface once, that portion of the file is done for....

I really love this product, it works really well and love having all sides available, shape, shine, smooth and buff I reach for it all the time. Made sure to get a back up!
Great price but not long lasting
Less expensive option but the "grit" didn't last for a lot of uses. It started to wear off after about a month.
Poor Quality Buffing Block
I do not recommend this buffing block. It does not work well and is falling apart after just a few uses! The first one I purchased also fell apart and I exchanged for another one thinking it was defective. The second one has done the same thing. I hope ULTA will offer a different brand in the very near future.

This flowery blue 4 way buffing block didn't buff as well as my tweezerman buffing block did. I actually bought 2 of these blocks but returned the one I didn't use because it didn't work very well. It just didn't shine as well and with one use, the sides looked really worn. The only plus side is it is pretty cheap, at about $3.
