Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing! Better than real techniques! The real techniques sponge I always have to replace every two or less months. I love the beauty blender it's one of the best investments in my makeup I've made. I use to use the pink one which I loved I used it for about a year and a half and cleaned it consistently and it never tore or failed me when applying my foundation.
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointed I usually love this beauty blender but the one i received doesn't expand very much it's a lot smaller than my old one. I checked to see if i had purchased the mini by mistake but i hadn't. I love beauty blenders but this one just disappointed me bc i like a larger surface to put on my foundation

So soft and bouncy on face when it's wet. Minimal product absorbency. Flawless application.
Best blending sponge ever. I do buy it again and again! 5

It was OK 3
A little disappointed from Jersey
I just want to say I love how it makes my foundation look BUT when I wet it and use it let's out little black prices from the blender. Not sure why that is disappointing when I have to keep sweeping off with brush.
The best 5

I've been using beauty blenders for years. I will say the quality and specifically longevity has gone down immensely but! There's honestly still no sponge that can come close to it. In my opinion of course. The black and nude are my favorite colors. Because the bright pink actually bled the bright pink. I hope to try the light pink next :) I'll let you guys know how that goes.
Changed to cheap garbage 1
Ash from New York
I've been buying the BeautyBlender Pro for a few years and it's always been the same, very nice smooth, dense sponge. the last one I purchased however is nothing more than a cheap rough porous piece of garbage.
My makeup doesn't go on smooth, it make my whole face look textured, it's awful.
You're better off buying a cheaper sponge if this is what BeautyBlender is selling now.
Worked great until… 3
RP from California
I had black flakes everywhere and the center of the sponge hardened? It was only after maybe about 10 uses. Not worth the money.
tiny black specs falling off 3
irms from Baytown tx
I have purchase this twice now thinking It be better but nope. tiny black specs fall off the beauty blender and are seen on my face. not worth the money at all. the other color ones are awesome. this one is a fail.
THIS IS AMAZING!!!! 🤩 5
Twinkle from Columbus, OH .
I used it to apply my liquid foundation. It's so much faster to apply & it goes on evenly. 😊
First one I've actually liked! 4
Natasha from WV
I've tried the real techniques blenders and other brands, they didn't work for me. It seemed like they took more foundation off my face than it put on. Not the case with this one! I still prefer a brush, but this did a good job! I just can't seem to get full coverage with a blender sponge.
Something is different 3
beachywaves from Coastal NC
I have had probably 15+ BeautyBlender Pros over the years and my most recently purchased one is just different. It gets bigger when wet and the texture doesn't feel as soft or bouncy, it feels more like a knock-off BeautyBlender in my opinion. This is the first time I've ever purchased from ULTA, I normally get them elsewhere.
Best Beauty Tool 5
PoshP from Maplewood, NJ
Always love the sponge beauty blender. Allows you to titration your coverage evenly with with moisture. I'm a particular fan of the black sponge because my makeup camouflages well once used.
Flaking everywhere! 1
Adri from Tulsa, OK
I wet it for the first time and tiny black flakes were left all over my hands. I didn't even use soap. Returning it for sure. So disappointed after hearing everyone rave about the OG sponge smh
Blends Flawlessly 5

Not worth it.... 2
Lexi from Michigan
It was good for blending and that's it
Why didn't anyone tell me about this? 5
Jpearl from Cleveland ohio
I truly had no idea how much better the beauty blender brand is than my drug store sponges, Game changer for sure!
Expensive for a beauty blender! 4
Kait from IL
I really liked this beauty blender but I usually reach for the cheaper orange beauty blenders, because they're so affordable. I tried this sponge and really enjoyed it, but it's unrealistic to pay this for one sponge!
Love it!!!!! 5

Love it!!!!!
Second Time Purchase 5
Sarah from Lubbock, TX
Love love love! Use it wet or dry and cleans well. Super durable and have been using it for months. Prefer the way this one blends over the pink original. I love it so much I purchase it for female family members getting into makeup.
Not sure what happened 3
Elena from New Mexico
This is the first time I've tried the black sponge, so maybe there actually is a difference between the black and the original because this does NOT apply the way I'm used to with beautyblender. Seems to soak up product and get dry much quicker than before, and my makeup looks cakey and less natural than before. I hope the "formula" hasn't changed for all the sponges, because the original is my holy grail of makeup applicators.
Ok but wouldn't buy again. 3
Kay from LA
This is an over priced sponge but I mean it does apply makeup nicely. The real technique one I've been using for years, more then less than half the price, works better and faster. This one takes longer to blend but I do like the pointy tip to get in the inner corner of eye area. This is good but I won't buy again when there are much more affordable options that perform better.
Does the job 5
Victoria from Arkansas
I didn't use the old style of Beauty Blenders, seeing other reviews says that they've changed? But this gets the job done and makes my makeup look wonderful. Easy to clean and works well!
Not sure yet... 3
Heyjude from Marina Del Rey, Ca.
I really enjoy doing foundation with a brush. So I just really need some practice with the beauty blender.
Not the same 2
Ctruelove from Anaheim hills
I bought this online recently and noticed right away that it felt different. Did they shrink too? I thought I must have bought a different brand but no it's the same.
A little disappointing.
New Version Sucks 1
Angie from Portland, OR
This new version and a pumice are the same thing. Very porous and rough, this new beautyblender sponge is good only to remove calluses or wash greasy pans. Cheap material. This brand got just reputation and now is selling just the brand name but items are trash, literally. Obviously it was RETURNED!
