Years ago I wore Beautiful perfume daily and it was as the name implies, Beautiful! I received so many compliments. I am on a limited income now but decided to splurge and purchase an ounce. I love that it is still a Beautiful fragrance but has been enhanced for today's attractive scents. Yes, I believe it is not quite the same, but equally attractive. Scents change with the times just as clothing, hairstyles, and skin care. I do it wish to walk in to a room like my grandmother. I want to own the room in today's beauty as a modern woman, even at age 70. Great job Estée!

I have to simply agree I bought the bigger bottle as i wanted this for so long. It didn't last but a few hours it used to last all day long. Regardless it smelled great in the beginning. However it was very weak. I'm not sure why so different than 10 years ago. But Estee Lauder has always been my go to. Bring back the real deal
Where did Beautiful go?
This is nowhere close to the Beautiful scent I remember so clearly. My stepmom wore this perfume and I wore it as a teenager. I ordered a bottle for pure nostalgia. I was completely thrown off when I sprayed it and the scent was totally different. I'm so confused as to why this would be reformulated to smell nothing like the orginal yet it still carries the Beautiful name. In my opinion it is offensive, sharp and cloying. The softness of the old formula is gone. I really should have heeded the reviews that said this is not the Beautiful scent. I will forever hold a grudge against Estee Lauder for this one.

Ordered my normal 3.4 oz bottle, smelled funny and thought it must be old. Returned it and guess what the new bottle smells like alcohol again. Seems there is a new formulation that just smells like old alcohol. Magnolia smells so much better. Left with a large full bottle of not so Beautiful!
