Wasn't sure what to expect as I've never used one of these, but I'm soo happy I finally did! It's not rough or painful (as you control the pressure). The handle came off when I tried using it. I guess my hair was to thick.

I like it a lot ut gets to my scalp through my thick hair but it doesnt really help wirh spreading the shampoo but i really like rhe long and thin bristles

moldy mess
i loves this at first. Then i started seeing blsck stuff in the rubber bristles. Upon closer imspection, a lot of the bristles on mine came with holes in the bottoms allowing for water to get inside and just sit there. Even when left hanging the water wasnt escaping and so it just molded on the inside. pretty much a waste of money because now i cant use it
