Apply this formula dry with the included sponge or the Luxe Performance Foundation Brush (sold separately). This application is ideal for balanced, combination or oily skin, or for on-the-go use.
Press the sponge or brush onto the powder.
Sweep the product across your face, starting where you want the most coverage and blending outward in long strokes.
For a wet application:
If you have dry skin or want the fullest coverage, use a damp sponge or brush to get the creamiest application. Tip when using wet: Allow 30 seconds for the powder to dry down to its natural matte finish & shade before setting or applying additional makeup as the shade may appear richer & more vibrant when applied wet.

Pros: * The packaging is small and cute and fits anywhere. * It has a wide variety of shades and undertones so I would consider it an accessible product. * I loved wearing it as an all day makeup. It looked good most of the day. * Im sensitive to scent and the scent was not obvious. * Great for pairing with a liquid foundation, it provided extra coverage and blended beautifully. * The shade I used matched my skin tone well. I have dry skin but if I am moving around too much It will become oily from sweat, this foundation offered good oil control maybe due to being matte. * It provides great color correction. * The product applied smoothly over liquid foundation without streaking or caking. (I applied with a brush) Cons: * The included applicator was not the best. I used once and didnt attempt again. I used the brush instead. * It Was medium coverage for me. It's not a CON if you like that type of coverage. I personally am ok with that but thought to include it in CONS just in case it matters to someone else but you can fix this issue by applying some liquid foundation underneath. * I would not pay this much for medium coverage if advertised as full coverage since it would require more product to achieve desired look. Overall: I would recommend this product. If you like a light to medium coverage, this is definitely a foundation for you. It pairs well with liquid foundations if you want to increase the coverage. It stays matte for longer than most in my opinion, and It is easy to blend. I also loved that this matched my skin tone perfectly. I love how Bare minerals also offers application suggestions based on your skin type! Try it!

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I really wanted to love this product - I can see the appeal and ease of a powder foundation, but with my textured, combination skin, I just couldn't get this to give me the flawless finish that I get from my go-to liquid foundation. This foundation does come with a small applicator pad. I found this to be very difficult to use to both pick up product and to blend it out on my skin to the coverage level I'd expect. I do wonder if the Luxe Brush would have made it easier to apply and regret that I didn't have it to give this a completely fair review. As it is out of the box, however, I just didn't love this product. When I finally did get appropriate coverage, this powder foundation seemed to settle in my problem areas - into my fine lines and larger pores around my T zone. It made my skin seem older, and at 40, that's the last thing that I want. I used to love Bare Minerals when I was younger and really did want to love this foundation as well, but it just missed the mark for me. Maybe it would work nicely on younger, smoother skin?

The color matched my skin well. I did not experience the product oxidizing on my face after wearing. There's no fragrance with the product. The product did give extra coverage when used in conjunction with a liquid foundation, but was certainly not full coverage on its own. I tend to use a medium to full coverage liquid foundation that is considered a matte or natural matte finish. I did have to reduce the amount of liquid foundation applied beforehand otherwise it would get a bit cakey. This product did provide a moderate amount of oil control but seemed to enhance my pores, not minimize as advertised. I did not like the sponge applicator that is included. I was not able to achieve a desirable finish when using the sponge. Overall, it was a decent product but I think the price is a little steep if you are unable to use this as a stand-alone foundation.
