Wonderful serum
I look forward to using this vitamin c serum every day. It smells divine, is lightweight and absorbs quickly.
Love the serum so far!
I wanted to write a review because there are none so far. I will update after having used it for a couple months, to give feedback on the results, but in the meantime I will provide feedback on what I've seen so far. Very pretty pink glass bottle first of all. The bottle has a little icon on it to remind you to shake well before use, and this is an important reminder: the product does separate. Once shaken, the watery parts of the serum combine with the oily parts, and fair warning: this product is quite oily. For people who struggle with oily skin this might be a detractor (although it does all absorb pretty well), but I have dry skin so I absolutely ADORE the moisture it provides -- it ensures that my skin doesn't get dried out while waiting for the product to absorb. I don't notice any smell. It layers well under moisturizer, and even makeup. I almost never purchase skincare without reading reviews, but I was on a very long quest for the perfect vitamin C serum, and I was picky: it had to be a stable form of vitamin C readily absorbed by the skin, had to have the percentage of vitamin C disclosed (at 15%, ideally), had to have other brightening ingredients, etc. I was about to pull the trigger on the Herbivore Nova vitamin C (mostly because the price tag on the Mara Sea vitamin C serum was too high), and then I found this. Once I looked up the ingredients breakdown on the INCDecoder I was sold. (Seriously: go type it into that site right now and look at how many amazing ingredients they used.) I had never heard of Korres before, but the little pamphlet included in the box for this gave me the impression that they're a great brand that maintains a high level of integrity and intention in their ingredients and their formulations. Then my mom actually gifted me a bottle of Korres' cleansing milk for my birthday the other day, purely by coincidence. I tried that, and it's lovely as well, so I think I'm becoming a Korres fan.
