Daytime Use: Apply to any dry or damaged hair areas that need restored moisture. Create a braid, a pony, a bun or just leave your hair down if it looks good and let the balm go to work. Shampoo and condition as usual whenever you're ready.
Overnight Use: Warm a dab of balm in your hands and work it from middle to ends. Wrap your hair in a high or low bun. Cover using the bun cap inside the box. Sleep. Shampoo and condition as usual in the morning.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have fine, thin hair with frizzy ends. This product has really helped tame my ends. I love that it is lightweight too. It's super easy to use and the scent is light. I love that it is an easy to use balm. I just rub a little on the palms of my hands and apply to my hair.

Hair Type Straight Hair
Kristin Ess anytime anywhere recovery balm is very effective, and may be used a few different ways. Sometimes I like to place enough in my hair, focusing towards the ends, overnight, after shampooing and conditioning, and then rinse it out in the AM when I take my wake-up shower. It may also be used in slick-back hairstyles. Though my hair is quite long, so not particularly my look, but great for a shorter slicked back style to heal while you style! Also I personally love to keep it in hand in my purse, for those days when I straighten my hair and have a few fly-aways…. A little goes a long way. Or in between getting a healthy trim I can put alittle just on my very ends if they begin to puff up on a day out that's windy and I've straitened my hair. This is a wonderful and trusted brand to begin with… and I was very delighted to be able to try and love this product!.

There isn't much smell to it. Not that I have noticed anyway. I used this on both me and my daughter for our messy buns and it seems to help tame the flyaways. I have not used the bun cap yet though.
