Great Pigment and Payoff
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I appreciate that there is little fallout when applying this product so my clothes and floor are dust-free. The shade match is great with great pigment and light coverage. I prefer to use a brush for a light dusting, but a powder puff to target specific spots on my face work just as well.
why change a good thing?
I have been using the original All Nighter setting powder for years and it was my ride or die. It was translucent and matte and lasted all day or night. This new setting powder is very pigmented and shiny. I agree with another reviewer, it looks like bronzer. It's pretty heavy on. the skin. The compact is very nice, but if it supposed to last all night, why would I take it with me? please bring back the old one!
Shade range is lacking
I love the finish and the longevity, but the difference between fair and light shades is CRAZY. The light shade would be too dark for me after two weeks in the Bahamas. The fair shade is lighter than my skin tone in the dead of a PNW winter. I'll be using the light shade as a bronzer and returning the fair shade. I wish they hadn't discontinued their All Nighter setting powder.
