A True Game Changer!

This is possibly one of, if not THE, best products JVN has ever created. For context: I have very fine and super thinning hair (mid length, highlights, slightly wavy) and I always struggle finding the right balance of hydration and protection while maintaining or adding volume because most styling p...roducts weigh my hair down. I've tried SO many volumizing foam/mousse, root lifters, root hair clips for blowdrying, etc. You name it, I've tried it. If it gave me great volume then it took all the shine away and my hair looked like a broom and a helmet had a child. If it gave me hydration then the volume was non-lasting. This right here is the ONLY product I've ever tried that gives hydration and heat protection without weighting my hair down, while also giving me a great amount of volume without looking like a straw helmet. I tried air drying it and blow drying it and it's AMAZING! To be fair, there was a small learning curve for me. At the beginning I was confused because it's part of the !air dry! line and when I saw it was a spray I immediately (hopefully, longingly) thought it was the Air Dry cream but in spray form, which I love but always have to use no more than a pea sized amount or my hair will be flat and having it in spray form seems like it would solve that issue. Alas, I was wrong. This is meant to be a root lifter/volumizing spray (I know, it's right there in the name, I was too excited to read carefully ok? no judgement!) I followed the directions at first, 1-2 sprays, and didn't see a lot of results either blow-drying it or air drying it but there was potential. So the next few times I played around with the amount of sprays/length/distance/etc that would work for me specifically. For my very fine thinning hair it takes a LOT more than that. For the result in the pics it took me 12-15 sprays, most of them focused all around my roots with about 3-4 going through my lengths. Here is my routine: JVN volumizing shampoo and conditioner, the smallest amount of JVN detangling spray, a pea sized amount of JVN recovery serum, the tiniest amount of JVN blow dry milk (if I'm using heat), then I shake my hair with my fingers to separate the strands as much as possible and also shake my head upside down, then I use about 12-15 sprays of this product separating big sections to make sure I get all my roots, then I shake my head upside down again and scrunch my hair DELICATELY to give shape but not destroy the volume, then I either let it air dry or blow-dry it. I absolutely love, love, LOVE this product. I was shocked at how much volume I got from it with just air drying it and my hair still felt soft, shiny and malleable. Much like other JVN products, I love how buildable this is! (dry shampoo, air dry cream, hair spray, etc) which is perfect for thin hair. This is truly the part where most JVN products actually stand out from competitors: they're gentle, buildable, and super effective. I used to say !oh I wish they had a dry shampoo/root lifter! and now they do and they're INCREDIBLE! It's like the JVN team is in my head thinking !what does Deb need?! so I'm going to put my request out there: please, please, please create a scalp serum or product specifically for hair loss? I know, the tallest ask, but a girl can dream! And if there's a team that's clearly committed to innovation is this one, so I have faith in you all. Pics reference: wet hair with the product (1 and 2), after the air dry technique (3 and 4), after the blow dry technique (5 and 6), immediately after blow drying it (7) and the results the next morning with no styling other than a loose bun while sleeping (8 and 9). Tip for the biggest volume if your hair is very thin: let your hair air dry with the products for a few minutes before applying heat, then blow-dry on warm, no brush, hold your hair up and don't stop until your roots are 80% dry, then move to the mid-lengths and your ends and shake your head upside down at the end. Don't touch it or brush it again until your scalp and hair are no longer warm/hot (approx 2 min), then brush delicately while holding your hair up or to the side (basically don't brush down without holding your hair so that you don't take the volume off). Then style it however you want.
