How To Use

The Ordinary recommends performing a patch test prior to incorporating a new product into your skin care routine.

Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than twice per week. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck using your fingertips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

A top tip when dying eyebrows: Apply the mask while the dye is sitting, and rinse both together in the shower for a quick, convenient experience.

Contraindications: Do not use in the same routine as direct acids, EUK 134 0.1%, retinoids, pure or ethylated vitamin C, or peptides.

Immediate results!

Over the past few years, I've been trying to get rid of the little "blackheads" on my nose. I've tried everything from cleansers, scrub masks, peel masks, blackhead strips, etc. Then I learned they weren't even blackheads, but sebaceous filaments! I found this brand on tiktok (go figure), and I was ...

Great for sensitive-combination skin

Right after washing off the peel my face felt so soft and smooth I applied the hyaluronic acid to add hydration back to my skin follow up with NMF. My face literally feels like a baby I'm thankful to D...

I have lost count of how many bottles of this I have gone through over the years, it is a staple in my routine. 2 or 3 times a month I pick an evening and use on my face as well as my feet. I always set a timer on my phone for about 7 minutes and then I rinse it in the shower, and am very careful to never go over 10 minutes on my skin. Additionally, you have to follow the instructions!!! Apply a THIN layer, DONT rub it in, and keep it away from your eyes! If you have sensitive skin you should probably avoid it like the plague, but I personally don't feel like it burns, I only feel a mild tingly/itching sensation after a few minutes and usually only when I use it in the winter as my skin is a lot more dry and sensitive then. I follow it up with a gentle moisturizer, and I dont use my red light on nights when I peel, and all of that has given me wonderful results!

Start slow!

I have extremely sensitive skin and I use 2% BHA a few times a week but this product is extremely harsh if left on too long. I'd recommend starting at 3-4 minutes at first and washing it off well, ideally before a shower so you can make sure it's all gone. It's a powerful exfoliator and shouldn't be used more than once a week in my opinion. I recently heard someone recommend putting it on their heels to soften their feet and that is incredible advice — it's more effective for that purpose than anything else, even baby feet.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Many say it burns, it can and it has, but not always. Some people can only use it for 2-3 min because of sensitive skin. Others, like myself, can use it for 18-20 min twice a week and it won't burn or peel but it will definitely tighten and brighten my skin. I also use RetinA daily (unless I'm doing this peel) with no problems, while many people cannot tolerate it. So, it all depends on your skin. Use it wisely and minimally to start.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
