Differin Adapalene 0.1% Acne Treatment Gel

Besties… when i tell yall this changed my life. I'm 25 with some serious hormonal acne. ive had a particular patch of stubborn acne under my chin that just did NOT go away no matter what i did. I started by switching my cerave retinol for this one just to try it out. Y'ALL…. The results are insane. Not only did my acne fade, but so has the scars. Don't expect an instant fix. it took my skin from Jan to like March for the effects to show and stay permanent. 3 months approx for acne to fade and about 4-5 for the scars to fade. Patience is a virtue, my loves, i promise it's worth it. And by God, THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH IT. For my adult girlies who need an acne fighting retinoid, this serum is your best friend. My skin gets compliments so much, i dont even wear makeup. :") i've even been asked what foundation i use even tho i dont wear any lolllll!! but yesss, this is my life saver, i will be a frequent buyer.

This product does take time to work but just in the two weeks i have been using it it has cleared most of my acne and has really helped my pires and blackheads!

Before using this product, I had pretty clear smooth skin. I was getting a few pimples here and there so i wanted to try this since there was a lot of positive reviews. I'm 27 and never experience severe acne (even in my teens) until when using this product. I was consitent with the adepalane for 4 months, but It gave painful cystic acne so I stopped using it because it wasn't getting any better. Im still suffering with the cystic acne even after I stop using it 5 months ago and I'm still healing from the scarring. I really wish i never bought this product.

I have hormonal acne around my chin, forehead, and a little on my cheeks. I have been using this gel for around 6 months and here are some of the things I have noticed. Does it work overnight? Yes and no. A pimple will not go away overnight with this stuff, but it will decrease in size and the redness should go down. Is it drying? I have naturally dry skin and when I first used this I made the mistake of not using a moisturizer before applying the gel. Now I have learned to apply a moisturizer (let it dry after application) then apply the gel so your skin doesn't dry out. Is it scented? No. How long until you see results? For a blemish to totally go away, I say about a week depending on the size and if you picked at it or not. Does this worsen or better your acne? For me, I saw improvement in my skin. I also ran out of it for about a week and saw that I was breaking out a lot more until I got the gel again. Is it worth the price? I think yes, but there still may be other products out there that are better for acne. Does your acne scare afterwards? In my experience as long as you don't pick at your acne, it won't scare. But we've all made the mistake of picking at it and this gel does seem to help prevent scaring from doing that. Final verdict: I like this gel as it does the job if you're looking to decrease redness and size. But it's not a fast acting treatment option. It is very gentle on the skin and hear me when I say A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!! If you are looking to prevent further acne (and not focusing on getting rid of any current acne), this product is amazing. For me this product is a yes.
