Use once weekly (or as needed) to deep cleanse curly and coily hair. Apply desired amount of product at the scalp and work throughout lengths and ends. Rinse. Follow up with Rich Mask, Moisturizing Cream, Light Hold Gel, and Light-weight Oil.

Effective shampoo, very dehydrating
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
As a new explorer in the curly girl realm, I have this shampoo a try in hope of finding a clarifying shampoo. It's effective at that, but it left my curly hair feeling very dry - I had to do 3 rounds of conditioner afterwards to get it back. It also is not sulfate free. Would not purchase again.
not great for 4c curls
buildup was not cleansed throuroughly after 3 washes and hair felt dry and brittle. i used a second time and my hair stull felt the same way so i gave up on this product

I wanted to love this brand since my friend has had good experiences with other of their products. This shampoo left my 3c hair super dry, hard, and kind of waxy. So upsetting that even after deep conditioning my hair didn't feel as soft as usual.

I used three A Curl Can Dream products including the shampoo, moisturizing cream, and gel, and it has completely ruined my original curl pattern. I used these three products ONCE and five days later my hair still has a filmy feel to it. I have a curl type around 3A, and after using these products my curls have stayed droopy and have lost their bounce/retention. Originally, I thought it was because I styled my hair differently with my regular products, but no amount of deep cleanse & normal styling has allowed my curls to return to their original state. The curls seem to have been relaxed, yet with increased frizz. I don't think many people have had this issue, but I would rather put this out in case anyone else has had similar reactions.
