This is the first time that I have had a problem with mascara. I bought this mascara as I was trying to find a pure brown inexpensive mascara (not brown/black). The color was great, it went on wonderfully and looked good. However, during the day it came off on my contact lenses. Cleaning them was very difficult, but I tried it again - same thing. It is so bad that I can't get my contacts clean - they are now no good. I would love to find out if there is any other brown inexpensive mascara that won't ruin contact lenses!

I hoped this would add more volume than it does. It looks nice and goes on smoothly. It does not irritate my eyes like most of the mascaras out there, but it just doesn't pump up the volume like the name suggests.

I do like how easy the product is to wash off. I rub gently with coconut oil, then wash with mild soap and water. I never have that gray, leftover residue in the morning and that is nice. My biggest con is the one thing it doesn't do is add volume. I find myself with 3 applications to make a nice difference in volume. Unfortunately, it is a nice product, but to miss out on volume means to lose a lot of points in my book.
