I have it and I don't know if it's supposed to be like a hairspray because I know it is this exact one but in a bigger bottle. When I spray it it makes my hair like really crunchy. Is it supposed to do that.

Best Thermal Protection Spray
I've tried thermal protection sprays from Cantu and Aussie and they both make my hair feel hair and brittle. I can say even as African American woman, my hair type is short, but very thick, and I still love this product. It smells really great and I am glad this was my first CHI product.

This used to be my go-to heat protectant. Smelled amazing, kept hair healthy from all the heat I used to put on it. But they must have changed the formula in the last couple of years. This product now leaves a gross/greasy build-up on my hair after blow drying and styling with other tools. I don't use any other products and haven't changed my shampoo/conditioner. This only difference was I buying a new bottle of this. After reading more reviews, I am clearly not the only one who has noticed this. I will definitely not be purchasing this again,
Bad heat protectant
This product is absolutely horrible. I use this product protect my hair so I can straighten it with my flat iron but it literally fried my hair. I don't put heat on my hair very often when I try to wash my hair my curls did not revert back just from flat iron once
