Hi, In one of your answers, you indicated that this product contains only water soluble silicones. However, amodimethicone is not water soluble. Therefore, the information you provided is incorrect.

The highly basic nature of the primary amine groups causes this silicone polymer to develop a net positive charge in aqueous systems over a wide pH range. By sealing the cuticle we protect the curl from any moisture depletion which leads to dehydration and damage. Water soluble silicones do not build up. I applied a dime sized amount of this to my shoulder length hair while damp. My hair is 2B, bleached, fine, and high porosity (even in the unbleached areas). The goal was increased moisture retention and less frizz. This leave in did seem to do both of those things, but my hair's texture seemed off...

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I didn't care for the scent of this product and I didn't find that it helped condition or detangle my hair whatsoever. My hair is naturally curly so it could be that it would work better on less tangled hair.

I like product and it has been great for maintaining moisture post washing. after applying, theres a major difference and it definitely adds hydration. once the hair is totally dry, it can look a bit frizzy. Pricey and a lot is needed. detangles/ leaves curls defined and spiraling. scent is very strong and unique

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been using the Ouidad leave-in conditioner for the past few weeks and it's made a big improvement in the texture and overall look of my curls. My hair tends to get dry and frizzy quickly, especially at the ends, but this leave-in keeps it feeling soft and hydrated without making it greasy. One of the best benefits for me is how easily it detangles my hair. It really helps unravel any knots, but doesn't weigh my curls down. My curls looks much more defined and less frizzy. The formula has a thicker texture, but it spreads evenly through my hair and still feels lightweight. It does have a strong fragrance, but it smells very fresh and clean, and it doesn't linger too long after application. My hair always feels smoother and more manageable after using it so it's become a main part of my hair care routine. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for an extra moisture boost and better curl definition. It gives me serious frizz control while maintaining plenty of bounce for my curls.
