Most Helpful Positive Review LOVE I absolutely love this foundation and switched from Kat Von D's line to this. It's a better color match, blends well, doesn't cause breakouts, sensitive enough to go over existing breakouts, dries matte and does not shoe pores when a powder is baked on. Hands down the best and will continue to purchase. Only thing is shake this bottle like no tomorrow before each use. The product separates and you're left with an oily product on your face. So shake it!
Most Helpful Critical Review Too Matte for My Dry/Dehydrated Skin I think this was a good product, it was just too drying for my skin at this time. I have sensitive, acne prone skin that is on actives that make it prone to dryness and peeling, and I live in a climate with dry weather especially in the winter. This product is extremely pigmented. I mixed a drop in my SPF or moisturizer and my face had quite a bit of coverage, and used alone, it had the coverage of a concealer. The finish is quite matte which I know a lot of people like, but I prefer a dewy and radiant look, and while mixing with something with more radiance helped, it made my skin feel tight and dry as the the day wore on, even with a moisturizer. I had a little trouble color matching, the colors were all a little too pink or orange for my more yellow NC25 undertones but 35w was a decent match. It wasn't a bad product at all but it just didn't fit my foundation needs so I ended up returning it. I would still recommend it to someone with oilier skin who likes a matte finish.

Have to exchange. Too light
Wonderful for my Pale Skin 5

I love this foundation, especially that you can mix it in with any lotion and it gives you such a weightless feel. Doesn't feel like I'm wearing any makeup!
Its a no for me... 2
BabyJewell from VB
I really wanted to love this product. I was super excited about it however it was a fail for me. First off, the dropper is useless. It just does not dispense the product in any acceptable way. Second, and this just could be my issue, but I could not find a suitable color match. The descriptions are off and after two shade attempts, I gave up. Third, this has major transfer, like it gets on everything even with a setting powder.
awesome product with limited shade range 3

I've never had a more difficult time getting a product to match my skin... Other than that, I loved it. Unfortunately, I either looked like a ghost or like I've been in the sun FOREVER.
Doesn't cover tattoos 1
TJ from Sacramento
This was recommended as a tattoo cover. I do not have a large or dark tattoo on my forearm, however it did not even hardly dull it!
Fantabulous 5

I love how easy and how light the drops go on my skin.
I don't get it. 2
DigiJess from Southern Indiana
I have loved everything that I have purchased from this brand so I grabbed this when it was on sale. Unfortunately, I should have believed the negative reviews. Even on my oily skin, it did not blend well and I did not find it to be any more pigmented than my normal medium coverage foundation. If you can't try this is store skip it.
Makes my skin smoother! 5

I have hypersensitive skin! I'm so prone to get acne, irritation, redness😠so it's kind of hard to find a good foundation that doesn't look to fake or that is super heavy to my skin that makes me break out so much! Well this is not the case with this magic foundation! I've been using it for a week and my skin is loving it so far! It looks like I have no foundation on! Plus no redness or pimples have appear yet! Hopefully it still works for me!
I would more than likely buy again 4

The product blends well with serums and other foundations and beauty balms especially well with my Armani foundation, it does take practice using it and I wish it had come in a pump the dropper is difficult to use that is frustrating because the product is a different consistency.
Great Product 5

This product is so light and natural, but with amazing coverage.

I love derma blend products and am so happy I gave this a try. The color they recommended is a perfect match and it takes very little product so it will last a very long time.
AMAZING 5
Lauryn from Kansas
This is by far the best looking foundation I have ever used - and I've used A LOT of them. It's so silky and feels weightless! I'm more on the oily side, usually have to apply powder on my lunch break, but not with this. I do set it with a setting powder in the morning though, but it lasts all day long and doesn't oxidize either!
Greatness for my dry skin 5
Dryfrecklitties from Steeleville Illinois
After hundreds of dollars spent in finding the perfect foundation for my dry ginger like skin, dermablend foundation is it! The coverage is awesome, and the shade is perfect for my skin. I had a hard time finding the perfect shade for my fair freckley skin, and this foundation had it. I don't look like an oompa loompa, or a ghost. I only bought it because it was on sale, and I'm very impressed.
Promising in theory, failure in execution 1
Civ2ru from Knoxville, TN
The idea of this product is fabulous. Pure pigment, infinitely customizable, lightweight yet full coverage, what's not to love? Just select how many drops you need and go! Which brings me to the first big problem: drops. Unless you shake the bottle until your hand falls off (no, 3-5 seconds ain't gonna do it), you won't get uniform, easily measurable drops. More like thick globs of product. And they will mostly collect on the outside of the useless dropper (rather than inside) – as it just doesn't dispense well – while the inside on the jar becomes a complete mess in the process, easily contaminated. Next: product covers great and provides a nice matte finish... INITIALLY, but after just 3-4 hours my face turns shiny and greasy. In the middle of winter. Shouldn't be happening. All the silicones to blame? Oh and the product melts off. Yes, I did set with powder, but how much powder does this thing need? So this is a failure in execution. If you call your product "foundation drops" and want your customers to be able to neatly shake and dispense a chosen number of drops, put it in a pump or at least a squeeze bottle. And, for crying out loud, make sure there are actual "drops".
Stays on after a run! 5

I decided to give this a try since it was on sale. Based on the shade recommendation from Ulta.com, I purchased 43W and 40N. I figured that since Ulta doesn't do even exchanges for another shade, I would return purchase multiple shades at the sale price and return the one that wasn't my shade.
I received these yesterday and compared the bottles to my current foundations: Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion in Linen (2N2), and YSL All Hours in W. Almond (BD30). The 40N shade is almost the exact match so I'm keeping that one. 43W was way too warm for me.
To see how this foundation holds up, I mixed 2 drops with my facial sunscreen and used my hands to slather it all over my face. My first impression is that it blends in really well and has a natural finish. I then went for my morning run and saw that my skin still looked good when I got back home! The only smudging I had was where my sunglasses were.

I've been using BareMinerals for like... 25 years... So I figured it was time to try something new, and this little beauty was half price, so why not?
I have to admit, from some of the reviews, I was thinking this might be be a mistake (I got more BM just in case lol)
I am 48, with very fair, combination, sensitive skin and bit of red hyper-pigmentation on my cheeks, with a small patch of psoriasis on my forehead, so I was hoping for a light, yet decent coverage.
So... to address some of the concerns in the reviews, lemme just go down the list:
1) No, it's not drying. Feels like liquid velvet over moisturizer and seems to actually improve the skin's surface. Also, the psoriasis is healed after just two applications.
2) It's easy to use. Easy to shake. Easy to apply. No drama, just applied one drop to my entire face with a brush and then blend in lightly with a sponge.
3) It stays all day (and doesn't settle into fine lines) if you use a light finishing powder and setting spray. I used ELF finishing powder and it worked great.
4) It's definitely worth the money, and I'll happily buy it again at full price.
Looks dry/ textured 2

I bought this a few days ago and I'm going to be returning it I will spend anywhere between 35-60$ for a foundation I've tried many over the years I think foundation is fun to experiment with and I'm always open to trying a new one. I wore this once and it looked ok but then I put it on the next day it it looked super dry and crackly looking even though I didn't change my skincare routine at all I put the same priming agents on my face as before but I truly think it's just a drying foundation that just drys out your skin idk but I won't be purchasing again it was cool to try but not for me also the dropper did not work however their concealer was good so I will be keeping that
Does not stay on through out the day 2
Mary from Montgomery, AL
This product goes on easy and is a full coverage makeup. I really had high hopes for a makeup to stay on all day, but it doesn't! It feels dewy and oily through out the day. I have combination/dry skin. Also, my bottle was almost empty when I opened it. I will be returning this product.
I will get this product again!! 5

Such a smooth product! Great coverage!!
Love this! 5
Kaykay from West Virginia
This product is so light but provides great full coverage. It also literally takes 2-3 drops to cover my entire face and lasts all day long.
I'm sold! In love with the finish. 5
Melanie from NC
I used one drop for my whole face for lightweight coverage and it still covered my blemishes and redness. I love the finish, not too matte, not too dewy. It just made my skin look so good.
I went shopping that day with a mask for several hours and my face still looked good at bedtime.
I'm so happy with the shade 30N. (I wear L'Oreal true match in N3, Maybelline Fit me in 125 Nude Beige)
Next time I'll prime my dry patches around my nostrils. I can't wait to try it for a night out.
Love this! Packaging is terrible though. 3
Taylor from NWA
I love this foundation and have been using it everyday since I purchased it. The worst thing about it is the dropper doesn't work and it's hard to get the product out. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars.
Did not work for me 2

Not for me. Settled into my pores. Not right color. Due to Restrictions I could not test at store. Will return and resume using Estée Lauder
All around awful! 1
Lisa from Central Florida
It's seldom that I find absolutely nothing redeeming about a product. This is one of those times. The color is far from the description- should have read "undertones of jaundice". The consistency is so thin that even a small amount melts my moisturizer, leaving a wet mess on my face. And to add insult to the matter, the dropper doesn't work!! Save your money and yourself from aggravation, this is a hard pass!
