Not moisture, very frizzy hair

By Alea

from Jackson, TN

Comments about Sebastian Drench Conditioner:

I tried this for 2 weeks. I went 7 days only conditioning, no shampooing at all. My hair didn't look anymore moisturized and was the most frizzy I had ever seen it. I haven't had a low end conditioner do this bad. My hair has some curl, is frizzy and dry. So if you have these issues this will not work at all.

Best conditioner

By Sarah

Comments about Sebastian Drench Conditioner:

If I try other conditioners, I end up having a hand full of hair in the shower. This is the only conditioner that doesn't make my hair fall out. I keep trying new conditioners and just end up going back to drench. It leaves my curls so soft every time.

  • Q:

Would this be the best sebastian conditioner for detangling? I have fine-ish, long untreated hair that has been knotting up with just normal activities - like turning my head back & forth!)

      A:

This is a great conditioner to add moisture, I would consider getting a light leave in conditioner such as the Wella Brilliance Leave in Balm to help with the knotting. You can also consider adding treatment once a week. I suggest the Drench Treatment.,This is a great conditioner to add moisture, I would consider getting a light leave in conditioner such as the Wella Brilliance Leave in Balm to help with the knotting. Do you rinse out this conditioner right after it is applied? Or should you leave it in for a few minutes while still in the shower and then rinse out? If so, what is the recommended amount of time between applying & rinsing?

The Sebastian Drench Conditioner does have its own unique scent, different from the Sebastian Whipped Creme Mousse; but comparable in that it is very pleasant and fresh.

Asked on 10/1/2015 by Amanda from Oregon

    1 answer

We recommend to use the Sebastian Light Shampoo and Light Conditioner daily, and twice a week to use the Drench Mask. It will add moisture without weighing your hair down. Enjoy!

  • Q:

I have ethnic hair (thick and coily-type 4c coily ziggly hair). Will this product work or will the Penetraitt work better?
    Asked on 7/12/2015 by Tia

    1 answer

    • Staff Expert

      A:

Drench is meant to moisturize and Penetraitt is meant to help with damaged hair. So depending on what your need is, it would depend on whether you need moisture or help with damaged hair.
