      Comments about Sebastian Drench Conditioner:

Does not lather in my hair well. No noticeable difference in softness or moisture. And it doesn't even really smell like anything. Definitely not worth the money. Very disappointed.

Conditions hair esp if it has been colored. Jean Phillipe Salon turned us on to it years ago. Goes well with their Pentrate Shampoo . Large bottles are worth getting when on special from Ulta

      Not worth it.

      By Teya

      from Utah

      Comments about Sebastian Drench Conditioner:

Shampoo tangles your hair and the conditioner barely untangles it. It makes it soft but it's definitely not a hydrating shampoo and conditioner as it claims. I've been using it for two weeks and my hair feels worse than when I started using it. I tried this shampoo and conditioner on a recommendation and I truly don't like it.

      Not moisture, very frizzy hair

      By Alea

      from Jackson, TN

      Comments about Sebastian Drench Conditioner:

I tried this for 2 weeks. I went 7 days only conditioning, no shampooing at all. My hair didn't look anymore moisturized and was the most frizzy I had ever seen it. I haven't had a low end conditioner do this bad. My hair has some curl, is frizzy and dry. So if you have these issues this will not work at all.

Hello! Please read our animal testing policy below:

Coty Inc. statement on animal testing
We do not perform, nor do we ever commission any third parties on our behalf to perform, testing of our products or ingredients on animals, except where required by law.

All our products are safe and have been developed, manufactured and packaged in compliance with the laws, regulations and guidelines that are applicable in each country in which they are sold. Our safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients is based on the use of recognized alternatives to animal testing, the use of existing safety data and, increasingly, the sharing of such data with other industries.

It is common knowledge that China requires mandatory animal tests on all cosmetic products imported into the country. We continue to be involved in the dialogue with the Chinese authorities, including through our active membership of the China Association of Fragrance Flavor and Cosmetic Industries (CAFFCI), to replace animal tests with alternatives. As a result, China has recently started to investigate ways to replace animal testing and has sought the assistance of European scientists.

We have been actively involved in the research and development of alternatives to animal testing for many years. We were a party to SEURAT-1, the single largest Private-Public Partnership initiative which aimed to develop alternatives to animal testing of cosmetic products. With a total contribution of €50 million, funded in equal by the European Commission and the cosmetics industry, it managed to produce some alternative methods to animal testing and set the ground for further development of which we are also part.

The common goal of all these efforts is to completely replace animal testing through validated alternative methods which ensure our products are safe for consumer use.

Would this be the best sebastian conditioner for detangling? I have fine-ish, long untreated hair that has been knotting up with just normal activities - like turning my head back & forth!)

This is a great conditioner to add moisture, I would consider getting a light leave in conditioner such as the Wella Brilliance Leave in Balm to help with the knotting. You can also consider adding treatment once a week. Do you rinse out this conditioner right after it is applied? Or should you leave it in for a few minutes while still in the shower and then rinse out? If so, what is the recommended amount of time between applying & rinsing?
