Most Helpful Positive Review Great for my slightly fine wavy hair
I've never had much luck with round brushes - they never seemed to have a balance between gripping my hair enough and not being to grippy as to get stuck. I recently read a tip that if the brush tangles up on you to easily, you probably need to go to a larger diameter brush. I bought a larger 3" brush, which helped some, but I still couldn't get a good grip with the nylon bristles (Chi brand). The mixed bristles on this brush give just enough grip that I can hold the hair taught but slide it through smoothly for a great blow out. I also like the feel of the handle and find the brush well balanced in my hand. I used it for the first time today, and I cannot stop touching my hair. It's the first time I've achieved a really good, silky smooth blowout on my own. Sweet sweet success, and I owe it to this brush.
I do like the pick in the end of the handle (you pull it out, flip it around and stick it into the end of the handle to use it) - but I had to dig through the brushes on display in store to find one where the pick didn't slide out of the handle too easily. Not a deal killer, and you could probably use clear nail polish on the base of the pick to thicken it up so it'd hold better.
Most Helpful Critical Review Poor Choice on my part
I chose this brush as my free award because it was newly added to the rewards list. Unfortunately my choice was a poor one. The moment I put it in my hair it tangled up. I repeatedly tried to use it (as I do my other round ion brush) to dry the ends of my hair, but no matter how dry or wet my hair was it never went smoothly through my hair. Every stroke tangled my hair and even broke some strands. I would not recommend this item.

Love these round brushes for styling. Bought this to replace the exact same brush I've had for 3 years.
Life Changing Brush
Nicole from Honolulu, HI
This is the brush I've been searching for my entire life. It the perfect combination of a paddle and a round brush. It smooths my hair perfectly.
Leena from Charlotte,
It's light, love the idea of having two kinds of bristles. It made my hair straight for couple of days and some shine as well. I like it

no, I would not buy this brush again.

This brush is not a good hair brush. It gets tangled up in my hair and is difficult to get untangled.
Sharon from Virginia
I have this brush and it doesn't work well at all for fine, wavy hair.

This brush, for me, is great for fine hair & volume.
However, it seems to be very popular & not easy to find in stock.
Quicker drying time!
Tess from Venice, FL
Hair dries quicker than with standard round brush, helps my hair to dry straighter but with body.

I blow dry my hair after shower. Helps dry and style my hair quickly. I have thick curly hair.
Didn't work like I hoped.

I have shorter hair and I wanted a narrower barrel and this was, but with the long bristles it really didn't work any better than the one I already have.
Love this hairbrush

I've had this 3-1/4" combo brush for about three years. The rubber on the handle has finally worn out and now slides around the handle. Time for a new one! My brush has a lot of mileage. I have very curly, fine, color processed hair. This is not the brush you use to pull your wet hair with one hand and dry with the other if you have tight curls and frail hair. I like this brush because it's got a "thumb hole" in the middle of the brush head where I can use this brush to hold my hair straight and dry it by sections to smooth when it's partially dry. I hold my hair section straight and use my dryer, then brush the section, then repeat until the section is dry. I also use it when my hair is nearly dry to brush and dry at the same time. At that point it doesn't pull too much as my hair is nearly finished. Brush is durable. Has the hole in the center making it easier to hold to dry sections. I'm going to go to my local Ulta and buy another.

Have never bought a really good brush, thinking there is not much difference. The stylist assisted with the selection and it really adds volume to this old head. Best for me not to wash my hair every day and using this brush on the off days really gives hair a volume boost.
Terrible brush! Beware!
Rebeccaj418 from Augusta Ga
Got this brush at my stylists recommendation and the first time I ever used it, all of the bristles melted/burned. To make matters worse they took a good sized chunk of my hair with them :( I never let my hair dryer touch the bristles so I don't know why this happened. I was able to take it back to the store and got a refund. Will never be purchasing this "heat resistant" brand again.

Waste of money ! Pulled my hair so bad ! Bristles started falling apart the first time i used it.
What a difference!

I never knew the addition of boar bristles to my styling brush could make my dried hair softer and silkier. My only complaint is that the brush lost several of those boar bristles with the first use. I'm afraid it won't be quite as durable as my old brush (one without boar bristles).
I love this brush . Easy to use to curl my hair and doesn't

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice....
MMI from Buffalo, NY
This is the second time I've purchased this brush. I had my first brush for less than a year when the handle suddenly snapped off while I was drying my hair. I bought another one assuming it was a fluke. I've had my second brush for less than 6 months and the handle snapped off this one this morning. I'm done. From now on I'm buying wood-handled round brushes. A hairbrush should be more durable, in my opinion.

It was expensive and it did not do anything more than what my 5 dollar Conair brush does.
Would buy again
