Most Helpful Positive Review Great Brush!!!
It took a few days for this brush to win me over, but it DID! I bought the gigantic 4.25" one and I LOVE the movement and shine it brings my hair! And the volume is GREAT! I've been using the Spornette Prego 3.5" for the last couple years. The Spornette grabs my hair more easily, but once I got used to this brush, I liked it way better. My hair is shinier and it's gentler on my hair (I find way less hair in the bristles of this brush vs. my Spornette.) I have naturally wavy hair down past my chest and I don't clip it up into sections or anything -- I use about 5 squirts of b&b thickening spray, blow dry it straight with this brush, then finish with b&b brillantine for that cute slept-in look. My secret to blow drying is to start with the brush on top of the hair and blow dry from underneath. I grab sections of my hair with the bristles at the roots, then I pull my hair up and back as I dry it from root to tip. This gives you amazing volume!!! Then when it's almost dry I switch and blow dry normally with the brush underneath the hair and the blow dryer blowing on the hair STRAIGHT down and I'll finish with a cool blast. This part helps combat frizziness. My hair always looks smooth and fabulous! I love this brush!
Most Helpful Critical Review Ouch!
I bought the 1 3/8 and 2 1/8 inch brushes for my thin hair. For the longer parts of my hair, I usually use both hands to role my hair around the brush. My right hand holds the handle of the brush and my left hand guides the tip of the barrel. All of the other Goody brand brushed I have owned in the past have a cool piece of plastic at the end of the bristle barrel that I can touch without burning my fingers. These Olivia Garden brushes don't have that feature. The end of the bristle barrel gets hotter than a curling iron and I have repeatedly burned my fingers. I would not buy this product again. I will stick with the usual Goody brand.

I bought this in store. I got I'll and tried to see if I could return it my mail to get a refund. All I got were messages about return policy. I got the 1/2" brush for my 40's style do. Was so excited! It tangled up in my hair badly, straightens it out, and also is too sharp on my scalp. I might have well thrown the money in the street where it would have done someone else good. Hard times to be wasting money during! I have thin hair and this just rips it. Horrible!
I would buy this again & Love it!

My daughters told me to get it after their hairdresser suggested this brush. They loved it & I do too.
Love love love

I have thick curly hair and this brush glides through so smoothly!
4 1/4" Insanely Good!!
cinsta from Massashusetts
The 4 1/4" brush is amazing. My hair dried so quickly and so smooth. It seems like it would be awkward but its the opposite. I've never been great at round brushing but this was so easy!!! It's more like using a vent brush that's round. I got the hang of it right away. I feel like I need a backup of this brush. I never want to be without it!!! Please never stop making this huge awesome brush.
Grabs and holds hair
Elsie from Muskegon MI
The bristles are a good length, close to scalp. They grab and hold hair for drying.
I should have got it sooner
Maggpie from Sandiego
It helps me style my hair without use of a curling iron or flat iron
I now have this brush in 3 different sizes!
MaMaC from Reno,NV
It works to dry my thick hair quickly. My hair doesn't get tangled in the handle.
Good product, not for me though
RoseR. from Boulder, CO
My hair is thin at the top and very thick in the middle and end. This brush was too big for me. It didn't give the the volume at the top but it gave me a lot of volume towards the middle and end which is the opposite of what I was trying to do.
This big brush is great if you have long hair and doesn't mind the big volume towards the middle, not the top of the head. A bit harsh for someone with thin hair.
Best brush for me ever
Joie from Northern CA
This brush works well to style my hair . I have fine straight hair and use the brush to curl it under. I was using velco rollers before and this brush is more even and stays longer and looks better on the following days than the rollers did.
I would buy this brush again
Margie from Antelope, CA
This brush is so easy to handle & I get great results!
Dee from Maine
I love this brush. I have shoulder length, thick hair and it dries faster with this brush. It doesn't frizz and dries smooth.
Great for short hair.

Works great for short, fine hair like mine.
The small one

It works very good.
Loved it so much, I bought another!
GrisA from FL
I originally bought this for my mom. We blow out our hair atleast 2-3 times a week. Every other brush she's had, breaks or burns in a matter of weeks. I decided to go for a more expensive tool, compared to what we would previously use. I have no regrets. The brush is lightweight and leaves our hair frizz free and shiny. I loved the results so much, I had to buy myself my own brush. I would definitely recommend it!
missing the parting tip

happy but the product doesn't match the picture
Great blowout brush but not for curly gals
Grasshopper from USA
My hair has a blend of 4a and 3c curls and i can only use this brush after another has done the job of straightening because the grip is too "soft" on this one.
I still think this is a great brush, but if it's going to be your only brush and your hair is like mine consider another with better grip.
Perfect round brush!
Mrs. Spot from Las Vegas
This is an amazing round brush. The longer barrel prevents tangling, it gives a lot of body to my chin length bob and no static. I ordered the 1 3/4 inch and then promptly ordered a larger barreled brush and will use them both. Fantastic purchase!
Jess from Nyc
The brush itself gave me a great blowout. HOWEVER, a huge flaw in the product is the design. Why is the top of the brush, that can rub against your skin, a heat conductor? I have a horrible burn on my neck from just moving the brush and bumping into my neck! It was so hot, I was shocked. I will have a permanent scar.
This is the best brush I have ever owned! Worth every cent!
Michelle from Scranton, PA
The size of the barrel is big! Just what I wanted! It is also super light weight!
just what i was looking for

Chris from New York, NY
It's a good brush. I like how my hair looks after being blown dry.
Great light brush
Jacki from Chicago
Was hesitant to spend almost double on a brush but I have thick hair...so worth the indulgence as it makes drying much easier on the hands and wrists.
AGL from St. Louis, MO
Love this hairbrush! I was looking for a new one because my old one broke and read some good reviews about the Olivia Garden brush. I was not disappointed! The bristles are not so hard that they pull on my hair and my hair doesn't get caught on the handle either. I have fine hair, but the bigger brush helps to give it volume. It also leaves my hair so smooth it looks like I've flat ironed it. Love this!
