Comments about Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme Combo 50th Anniversary Special Edition:

Being somewhat older I have used a LOT of different brushes over the years. This is hands-down the best! I've used mine for 6 months or so and have now tossed the many others I had stashed away. I feel like picking up as many of these as I can . . . . I would hate to have them discontinued. I have hair of an average thickness and also bought one for a friend with outrageously thick (and long) hair. She loves it just as much as I do.

The cost was a bit much, but after a couple of years I bought it again. It works great for tangles and I have very thick hair. I'm even going to buy my boyfriend one for his beard, he loves it too!

Comments about Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme Combo 50th Anniversary Special Edition:

This brush is not for thick hair like mine. If you have thick hair do not buy this brush because it barely brushes the entire hair. For example it does not take in all the hair because it's simply too thin. So half of my hair (the top part) is brushed and half (the bottom) is not because it doesn't take in and brush through all the hair. If I go back with another brush and brush through my hair for the 2nd time I find so many tangles because this brush never got the tangles, just the surface hair. Wish it was wider and thicker.

        Nope

        By SD_NATUREGIRL

Comments about Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme Combo 50th Anniversary Special Edition:

I ordered this brush when it went on sale based on all the great reviews, but was so disappointed when I received it. The handle feels and looks like cheap plastic that's been painted gold, with a large anniversary stamp on the back. The dealbreaker is the strong smell of whatever it was lacquered with. It's been out for a week, but smells the same as when it came out of the package. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the cushion and bristles are well made, although they're not long enough for thick hair.

If you like the Wet Brush in the similar style (boar/synthetic bristle combo), you will LOVE this one. It's basically the same brush, just better made. I have long, thick, oily hair and this brush suits it perfectly, distributing the oil while penetrating my entire head of hair. I no longer have to take special care to brush out the hair at the top of my neck. It does an amazing job and is worth every penny. This is a combo brush which has boar hair bristles, which are made to take oil from scalp and brush down to ends. My hair is horribly oily and this is HANDS DOWN the best brush for oil control!

This quality culo brush made my baby fine hair soft as a babies culo, I would definitely recommend this product to one of my pendejas. Hands down 10/10 and I love the subtle gold color of the bougie culo brush.

Comments about Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme Combo 50th Anniversary Special Edition:

So far, better in Gold than Silver!!
(In Silver, the covered tips came off in my hair! I don't know why. And because of this, I almost didn't re-purchase in Gold!)
This brush allows my fine hair to either have added volume, or to lay smooth and flat, depending on how I brush it.
Best I would say for smoothing out, (whereas a Marilyn tuxedo brush adds a huge amount of volume at the roots).
You need to know, just like with product application, how to use it to suit your needs. I recommend talking with someone (with similar hair as yours never hurts), who works in the salon at Ulta for instructions if you are desiring a certain effect or outcome. Or book a styling appointment (I think they have those), and discuss the look you are after and how to achieve it.

All in all: the brush itself is spendy, but worth the investment to quickly smooth fine hair!
