Most Helpful Positive Review I really like it
This is the second beauty blender type item I've used, after the Real Techniques sponge. I have to say I honestly prefer this one. It feels more substantial somehow, and blending out foundation is EFFORTLESS. I used to have to use the RT one dry because when it was wet it ended up applying my makeup streakily and it took a lot more effort. With this sponge, I hardly even need to go over an area twice before I am happy with how it looks. My main con is that it's very difficult to clean because it's so dense. It has a tendency to stain and I'm paranoid that I haven't rinsed it completely well after 5+ minutes of rinsing. I don't wear foundation daily, however, so for me the hassle it's worth the beautiful finish & price.
Most Helpful Critical Review Spend a dollar more for the Real Techniques sponge
I love ELF products but this is one I won't buy again. The sponge is really dense so when you dab on makeup, it's kind of like punching yourself in the face . It tends to absorb a lot of product so I started applying my moisturizer and sunscreen to the sponge to help prevent so much product absorption. But the product still gets deep in there and is impossible to clean out. Real techniques is much softer and easier to clean though it's lifespan isn't the greatest

My favorite beauty blender! Soft and distributes product perfectly. I've tried many and surprisingly enough this affordable sponge is the best.
only good for powders
dom from whittier
this sponge is really soft and i used with a foundation and it's kind of just spread my foundation everywhere instead of blending it in so I washed it and now i only use it for powders and when I bake and it's super easy to use
Not good for liquids

This sponge is terrible for liquid foundation and concealer but it's FANTASTIC for powder like loose translucent powder. USE THIS FOR BAKING IT APPLIES LIKE A DREAM!!! Not for liquid. The sponge lifted my makeup and lessened the coverage.
Love this for foundation

This is the only sponge I use for applying my foundation!
Not for foundation
Mariola from 60156
I used this to blend my foundation and it left it spotty and just didn't look as smooth but it did blend my contour pretty nicely
Only sponge for me.

I love this sponge! I have tried the egg shaped sponges, from many other companies, and this one is still by far the best. It is inexpensive and I have 2! (I travel for work)
I would not buy this product

The sponge soaked up all of the foundation and when I tried to blot in on my face it left patches of uncovered skin. I will be returning this product.
I prefer this sponge over any other

I actually like that this sponge is latex free. The texture and bounce of this sponge is what I prefer when blending my foundation and other creams. If you have a latex allergy, this is also a great option! I don't feel like this sponge soaks up a lot of my foundation, and I notice that it doesn't take a lot of effort for my makeup to be fully blended into my skin. You can't beat this option, especially with it being under $10!

Love it. Just because I use it everyday I get a new one every month!
I'd marry this !

I freaking love this product . It is my new go to always . Super blending and doesn't steal my product . I'm going to continue getting this bad boy . I like to dampen him before dipping in

I understand this is a sponge, but it eats every bit of product. If I could give it zero stars I will. I'll go back to my L'Oreal sponge.
ELF MADE IT BETTER

I remember trying this sponge and not liking it bc it was dense like a Nerf football. BUT a YT'er mentioned these sponges changed and are now much more like the pores seen in Beauty Blenders. This is literally my default sponge.

This is way too soft, I get that it's for liquids but it's like using a cotton ball to apply my makeup.
I would not purchase this again

I use a beauty blender to blend out my concealer beneath my eyes and on any acne scarring. This beauty blender becomes huge after you run it under water. This allows it to be very absorbent and overly porous. I'm not a fan at all!

I'll start by saying I've never bought the official beauty blender, just can never bring myself to get it. I've tried a lot of the other drug store beauty sponges though. I went the the store to buy a new eco tools and right next to it was this one. I wasn't sure but took a chance and it is really nice!!! It is really soft and squishy, reminds me of the L'Oréal one. Softer than eco tools and real techniques. I feel like it might soak up a little more product than the others but over all it's a win. I've used it and washed it about 4 times and still looks good as new.

Wow! Way better than the real techniques sponge!!!! Will be buying again!
This product saved my life!

I have tried SO many blenders & sponges of all prices and sizes. This one is by far the best I've ever used. It's so soft and blends my makeup perfectly. I have gone through 3 already! Love love love.

Let me tell you guys. I've been buying Beauty blenders since they've been out. And let me tell you I'm never going back. The ELF ones only cost a few dollars, while you spend 20 on one single beauty blender. These are so soft when wet and they grow at least five times bigger than what they are. They made my skin look so flawless and poreless with the application and provide it. I am super Duper impressed and I am never going back
I like it 🤷🏽♀️

It's a good sponge . I got it for my birthday I don't know why people dislike it so much .
Good wet foundation blending sponge
Jess from Vero Beach FL
Great wet when blending foundation or concealer.
Squishy, Soft, Easy to clean

I bought the real techniques sponge a couple years ago and the shape was completely deformed after one wash. It even had tears all over it. I wash this elf sponge daily and it hasn't torn or lost shape at all. The pointed side can be too big for getting underneath your eyes, but you can easily squish it to fit under your eyes(it is soooo soft). I use mine damp and I don't find that it soaks up product. I also prefer this one over other sponges because I like the rounded end to apply my foundation all over my face as opposed to a flat or pointed end. ...Im not sure why this has so many bad reviews because I really love it =')
Super soft, great at blending
Liz from Austin, TX
I don't normally use much liquid makeup, really just under eye concealer, but this sponge is perfect for blending it out well and you seriously can't beat the price. The trick is to wet the sponge and squeeze out all the excess water before blending.
