Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60:

This is one of the best face sunscreens I've used, it goes on very light but still gives you maximum protection and leaves a soft powdery feel on your face instead of the usual oily sunscreen feel, scent is also very light. I usually breakout with all face sunscreens since my skin is prone to acne, this one didn't make me breakout. It can be used under make up if necessary without the feeling of having a thick layer of cream under your makeup.

I never thought very much about why my skin was so much less greasy now than in the past. That is, until I stopped using this sunscreen and went cheap with Neutrogena clear skin. now I'm a grease ball! Must grab more Anthelios! I also put on an antioxidant serum underneath and feel max protected.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60:

I have pretty oily skin, and this is probably the 10th sunscreen specifically for faces I've tried. This is also the only one I've bought again. Other products/brands say they are non-comedogenic, and won't sting eyes, won't cause excess oil, etc. This sunscreen is the only one that actually comes through on these promises! I use it every day, and it absorbs well. I use it before my primer, and my makeup doesn't budge at all throughout the day. It doesn't sting my eyes at all (with or without contacts), and I have used it on a week-long beach vacation 2 years in a row and never gotten sunburnt. Excellent purchase and I will continue buying it.

This product is amazing!! I have oily, acne-prone skin, and literally every sunscreen I tried broke me out. I was recommended the La Roche-Posay moisturizer with 30 SPF by the woman at Ulta, but I love my current moisturizer too much to switch, so I opted for the stand-alone sunscreen. I have not broken out at all from this, it's super light-weight, and I have had no other problems. Definitely buying this again!!

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60:

I've had a 3 month spout (not to mention adulthood battle) with adult acne and I'd had enough, which is what brought me to this product. I was in the market for a sunscreen to layer under my makeup to help control my pimples and oily skin. I have large pores and live in a humid, hot area- so I've tried and tried again to find my holy grail, and this stuff is amazing.

I put it on under a powder foundation and my skin is matte all day long. It goes on smooth, blends well, and works for upwards of 10 hours! At the end of the day skin was matte and barely oily (where some days seemed like all the oil-blotting in the world wouldn't take away my forehead sheen).

I now wear this every single dy and I'm overjoyed with the new condition of my skin! If you have oil, acne prone skin- this is an awesome sunscreen and worth every penny!

Comments about La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60:

LaRoche-Posay was recommended by an aesthetician because many of its products do not contain titanium dioxide, which has been outlaws in many countries because of its carcinogenic properties. Since she also recommended a moisturizer with squaline for my rosacea (Benefit Total Moisture), I opted for this particular sunscreen since it is dry touch, so I thought it wouldn't add too much oil to my skin on top of the Total Moisture moisturizer. Great idea! This sunscreen is not only highly effective, but it's perfect layer on top of my moisturizer and beneath my primer. I have had hyperpigmentation on my left check just from the Oklahoma sun's rays shining through my lightly tinted driver's side window (and younger years spent at the lake, the beach, in tanning beds). This protects my skin without giving me that greasy sunscreen feeling. My makeup stays fresh all day.

Hi Stefa! You can use both the Effaclar Mat Moisturizer and Anthelios Clear Skin SPF 60 Sunscreen together. We recommend to first apply the Effaclar Mat Moisturizer first. Allow to fully absorb into your skin before applying the Anthelios Clear Skin SPF 60 Sunscreen. Both products are formulated for oily/combo skin, are oil free and will not clog the pores. We hope this is helpful!

Hi Jane! The Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen is formulated for oily skin as it absorbs pore-clogging oil, even in heat and humidity and provides a dry touch texture. Apply the Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure (as the last step in your skin care regimen) and allow a minute or 2 to absorb. If you do not have oily skin, you may want to look at our other sunscreens.

                      A:

Thank you for your interest in La Roche-Posay, a brand of The L'Oréal Group.

Our consumers' health and safety have always been an absolute priority for L'Oréal. As is the support of animal welfare.

L'Oréal has developed a very rigorous safety evaluation procedure of its products, backed by research. Well before the question of animal testing was raised by civil society or within a regulatory framework, L'Oréal has been committed to new methods of assessing safety that don't involve animals. A true pioneer, L'Oréal has been reconstructing human skin models in laboratories to elaborate in vitro safety tests since 1979, as an alternative to animals. In 1989, L'Oréal completely ceased testing its products on animals, thus 14 years before the regulation required so. Today, L'Oréal no longer tests its ingredients on animals and no longer tolerates any exception to this rule.

Certain health authorities may nevertheless decide to conduct animal tests themselves for certain cosmetic products, as it is still the case in China. L'Oréal has been the most active company working alongside the Chinese authorities and scientists for over 10 years to have alternative testing methods recognized, and permit the cosmetic regulation to evolve towards a total and definite elimination of animal testing. Thanks to this, since 2014, certain products manufactured and sold in China like shampoo, body wash or make-up are no longer tested on animals.
