Most Helpful Positive Review By far the best face powder I've used I've spent hundreds of dollars on foundations and powders for my ever changing face. The older I get my face seems to change texture. I can't wear foundation of any kind with out it wearing off my face in an oil slick causing break outs. Or the colors are never a match. Powders, expensive and generic make my face feel tight and uncomfortable, again not providing a good color match. I have large pores, redness all over and am acne prone in my T-Zone area. A co-worker was wearing the Almost powder by Clinic. Her face was glowing after a long shift at work. Her makeup flawless. She told me to give Clinic a try. The best decision I've made. You can apply this liberally for a lightweight coverage or you can build with this to get medium to full coverage. All the redness in my face was covered perfectly. Acne has deminished and no new breakouts. The color match is perfect. It feels light weight with out the the tighness of a powder but finishes like a foundation through out the day. It's price point may be higher than drug store. I'd say save the money you'd spend on drug store foundations and powders and get this instead. Clinic almost powder will make me feel confident in the summer.
Most Helpful Critical Review WHY DID YOU CHANGE SOMETHING THAT WAS WORKING?? I do not understand Clinique at all!! It is so frustrating for a company to change a foundation, a powder, that it knows from reviews that IS ABSOLUTELY WORKING for those who use it! The coverage, look and feel is now different than what it used to be because you took out the SPF15 that was in the product. HOWEVER...You might check your stores as many I went to in my local area have the samples to try the product at the counter, say the SPF! I used to love the coverage of this powder as I typcially and almost exclusively use powder as my foundation at the age of 51! Please change this back to the way it was!!

Will always use it even if I have to blend with lighter shades of other brands. Happy to see C is coming out with product like items from the 1990's.

LiliP from IL
Gentle formula ,it not only doesn't cause breakout ,it actually soothes my skin when i have allergies from using other products! And i am so glad that it has SPF . I always loved this powder foundation and i have switched to Estee Lauder double wear powder but i came back to this and i will stick with it !
I just wish there were more light shade to choose from!
Nice powder 5

This product goes on smooth and provides a nicely tinted shade. It's a nice addition to my morning regimen.
Nice product but wrong color 3
Annie from Indiana
This powder is very nice but, after deciding on the color, through chat, I am a bit disappointed. It's a bit too light. I told the person chatting that I wanted a color close to my IT powder. She told me this would be the closest but it's not. Hopefully it will work in the winter months.
Something has gone wrong with this product. 2

I have been using this product for a very long time and have loved it. The last two times I have purchased this, it started to crumble both times. So frustrating and disappointing as I would expect this with a cheaper brand but not Clinique. Please fix this problem. I now see others have complained too!
Favorite powder ever 5

A gorgeous powder foundation 5
Anad from Colorado
Every few years, my skin goes through a change and I find my foundation collection is no longer serving me well...now, at 61, another shift, which has surprised me because the condition of my skin is pretty good...thank you skincare routine! I don't need a lot of coverage, more of a polished look, and all my foundations were looking heavy...a bit cakey, settling into lines and pores.
So, I tossed everything out...all my BareMinerals, Perricone, Lancome, Bobbie Brown, etc. Only kept my Kosas and Chanel Ultra Le Teinte Velvet. That left me with some need for a powder foundation and a tinted moisturizer. I remembered that I used this powder back in my early 40s and loved it, so on a whim, I picked it up at Ulta and have fallen in love again. The color neutral is just perfect for my light/medium skin. Unlike BM, this does not require tons of buffing...it is super fast to apply...very forgiving. I would say the coverage is light to low medium, which is what I want. The powder itself is almost creamy, and it leaves the skin perfected. No cakiness, minimal settling into lines and pores, and I am pretty impressed with the staying power when used with Hourglass Mineral Veil. When it does start to fade, after about 6-7 hours, it does not look patchy or dry. In fact, its super easy to do a quick touch-up. It just seems to meld with the skin. My Hourglass bronzer and blush apply beautifully...
This is perfect for mature skin if you want something fast, weightless and skin smoothing. I hope they never discontinue it!!

Bri from Concord
This is my absolute favorite I use to wear liquid foundation now I don't even need it because this stuff makes you look like you're not even wearing any and it covers scars and red spots without looking cakey. I am never using another product for foundation again this is the best stuff ever
Been wearing it for years 5

This is my favorite foundation of all time. Great coverage without looking thick or caked. Stays on throughout the day. My skin is combination, and I have some splotchy redness. It makes my skin look flawless.
I will continue to use this 5

I use this over tinted sunscreen for very nice, soft & natural looking medium coverage.

I thought this was going to be a translucent powder with some tint but boy I was wrong. I put the powder on and looked gray. Women with melanin, do not bother with this product unless you're trying to look sick. The powder was soft, I'll give it that. But it's going back to the store.
Goes on smooth and covers nicely 5

Nice light coverage with sunscreen 4
LT from Maine
Really Think will like this. Have used superpowder double face makeup as my only coverage for years in Matte Neutral and wanted to have something that had sunscreen without oily lotion. I found some lotions irritating so thought this would be good option. I like the coverage and the lightness just do not find color as correct so only reason gave 4 stars.. I am right in between 2 colors with this. Wish Clinique had more universal color names - such as Neutral in one is same in another. So for me unless I am in middle of winter or very tan in summer for myself then am in between colors. But still find may use in summer at least.
Crumbled within two weeks 1
Maureen157 from Cincinnati, Ohio
I love this makeup but it completely fell apart within two weeks of purchase. I've tried emailing, chatting, and calling and can't get ahold of anyone to get a replacement. I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic but customer service seems non-existent.
Covers well! Looks like a flawless finish powder 5
Paging nurse cutie from South Texas
I have the kind of skin where I need extra makeup for the "no makeup makeup look" and this powder surprised me! It finishes like a flawless powder but covers and I'm really loving it! I wore it from 0530-2030 on my shift at the hospital and performed well, didn't really disappear on my mask and when I finally saw myself before my shower at 9pm I wasn't disappointed on the performance. Would recommend! It's not full coverage, it's buildable but it's gonna be my go to all summer! Especially cause you can't get away with heavy foundation everyAfternoon in hot Texas.
Almost powder 1

Clinique has failed. I have been using Clinique everything for over 30 years. I have rolled with the changes. Clinique has joined the band wagon of companies going to mineral POWDER makeup only,NO MORE CREAMS in a compact. We used to have everything in one, mirror, sponge and face cream with zinc spf. I was told by texting with a Clinique rep to try the stick?? No thanks. Clinique has not only cheaped out, no mind of their own and failed only to copy Bare Minerals because they are trying to fix what ISNT broken. Thanks Clinique
SPF got me hooked! 5

I love this product. It has the Clinique coverage and quality that I expect with the added benefit of SPF. My go-to face powder!
Arrived Broken 2
KK from Dallas
It's always frustrating when something arrives broken as this did. I have oily skin and this product did not work for me. I thought I purchased in past and liked it, maybe the formula changed. Did not work for me. AND it arrived broken ...
New formula has irritating chemical sunscreens :( 2
jaclyn32 from PHiladelphia
I LOVED and relied on this product for years for even, matte, stay-in-place coverage...until my skin started breaking out. I discovered that both this powder and the Super CityBlock sunscreen I've worn for 20+ years had been reformulated to include irritating chemical sunscreens - octinoxate and the lie. THese products used to contain ONLY mineral/physical sunscreens (titanium & zinc), which was a HUGE selling point for many of us with sensitive, acne-prone skin. On top of that, nowadays we hear about chemical sunscreens being potentially carcinogenic AND destroying coral reefs, so it's beyond me why Clinique would ADD them, rather than take them away, from a product that already had effective sunscreen. Clinique, please give us a (preferably talc-free), mineral alternative!
