If you want to fill in your pores, you will need to apply powder as well. I like it, but it is a little pricey for the end result. If your skin is oily, don't buy it.

I have combination skin prone to very oily t zone and breakouts, and this stuff is awesome. I work 12+ hour days as a nurse and it goes on smooth, stays in place, doesn't rub off onto clothes, and has helped decrease the oil on my skin by the end of the day significantly. My skin looks almost perfect at the end of the day. This is my new favorite. Light coverage that's definitely easy to build.

                  • Q:

Hello, I have light/medium skin and tan on the Summer months. I am 56 years old with great skin, some wrinkles around my mouth area. Recently I purchased this product in the tan color because of my Summer complexion and it looked great. Now with my faded tan, can I still use this and substitute it for a bronzer, or do I need to purchase another in a lighter color which I am trying to avoid?

Hi there, thank you for your question! With changing complexion in between seasons, IT is common to have to change the shade of makeup you are using to best match you at that time. You can absolutely keep using your CC+ Cream Illumination in Tan as a bronzer over top of your lighter foundation base to bronze the skin with. Although IT does not match your all over shade, you can still use it to bronze the skin or even mix in with foundation that may be too light for you at the time. Use your products in any way they work best for you! XOXO

Hi there, thank you for your question! We recommend setting your CC+ Cream Illumination with Bye Bye Pores Powder. IT is a translucent powder that sets your makeup to keep it in place all day. This step will help to prolong the wear of your makeup. You can use IT to touch up during the day as needed! XOXO

                  • Q:

What is the difference between this product and the Your Skin But Better CC? It seems from the name there is more "shine" to it, If that's what's going on with these new "illuminating" ccs, I will stick with the originals. The spf coverage is the most awesome feature (the reason I use these products!), but even the older cc products seem very shiny, or dewy, or however you want to describe that look, so I certainly don't want more of that!

Hi there, thanks for your question! The original CC Cream and the Illumination version have exactly the same skincare, anti-aging benefits, and SPF 50 properties. The difference is in the finish that the Illumination provides. CC Cream Illumination gives the skin the look of subtle radiance without glitter or shimmer. Illumination will not increase shine or oil production, but attract light to give the appearance of a more youthful glow. Original CC Cream has a natural finish! XOXO

Hi there, thank you so much for reaching out! CC Cream is truly amazing for all skin types! If you tend to have oily skin and prefer a matte finish then you may find that the original one will work better for you. Additionally, you can set IT with a finishing powder such as Bye Bye Pores! This is a translucent setting powder that will leave a matte finish on the skin and absorb any excess oil and shine as well as lengthen the wear of your make up! Hope that helps! XOXO

I absolutely love the IT CC + Cream illumination foundation. The shade Tan seems darker that the Celebration Foundation in the Tan. Would the Medium color of Cream Illumination work? I need something with yellow or golden undertones. I have Light to Medium Skin Tones. I do use self tanner so that is why I have a slightly darker skintone for Blonde Hair and gray/green eyes.
