Comments about It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination SPF 50+:

I wanted to love this because I normally like so many IT products. But... I think I'm going to have to return it. It's okay but I don't love it.

It does provide pretty good coverage if you have normal skin - it does cover redness well but I i did not find that it covered some acne scarring that I have. Even when layering it doesn't provide additional coverage. I'm not fond of the illumination because it is quite literally a sparkle on the face. My boyfriend snuggled against my face while I was wearing this and he ended up with sparkles on his face! I do wish their shade range was larger for paler and darker skin tones. Maybe if it does well they will expand the selection.

I would recommend this if: you have dry but fairly clear skin, you like to use mattifying primers but still want a dewy finish after setting with a powder.

Hi there, thank you for your question! CC+ Cream Illumination is absolutely a full coverage product! IT is buildable, so we suggest starting with one pump and adding more where IT is needed. We hope you try IT out! XOXO

                      • Q:

I'm struggling to decide between fair and light. I am very pale skinned with lots of sun spots. I have been using Jay Manuel in the lightest shade but I think it may be a bit too light, and I've received feedback that I could use more warmth and color. I am in my late 40s, medium blonde, and I don't want to look washed out, but I need full coverage. But I hate adding something that makes me "look like I'm wearing makeup". My skin tone is cool and I want to try light instead of fair but I'm hesitant because of the comments that say light and medium have warm undertones and a greenish hue.

Hi there, thank you for your question! We are happy to match you to IT! If you feel you are in between shades, we suggest visiting your local Ulta store and seeing the shades in person. You could absolutely use the warmer shade to add some color to your complexion. You could also mix shades to give you your best color match. We are in the process of expanding our shades. We hope you have your exact match soon! XOXO

I already use the bye bye under eye in light and love it! I would like to try the cream. What shade should I choose and should I get the one with illumination? I currently use cover girl advanced radiance in 120, creamy natural. I have sensitive skin and would love to try the IT cream.

Mac NC 20, Makeup Forever HD Foundation 140. I see that the Light has pink/neutral undertones. Medium seems to have neutral undertones. Is Light or Medium better for me based on my skin tone/shade?
