Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

I used to be afraid of wearing blush because I was always using the wrong brushes. Most of my blushes are extremely pigmented so it is really easy to go overboard and look like tomato since I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation that eventually peaks through after a long day. However, this blush is not dense at all and the bristles vary in length so it picks up the perfect amount of blush. I love it so much! it could also be used to apply a light dust of translucent face powder over the face.

This entire line is the absolute best! I consider myself a low-key beauty fanatic in the fact, I'm well aware of the high end brushes but didn't have the budget to spend $50 on ONE (yikes). In my opinion, you get professional application results with Real Technique.

I use this as a blush brush and it takes too much for the product to transfer. The bristles are too fluffy and don't do well getting the blush on your skin

                            Hi Beauty Buzz,

Fortunately, both of these brushes are made from synthetic, hypo-allergenic fibers and are some of our softest bristles, so I don't think you should have any issues like you might with bristles made from animal/natural fibers.

The powder brush has slightly more bristles and a wider head & dispersment (since it doesn't have to be as focused of an application as blush), so you may find that one works best.

                            Hope that helps.
                            Thanks.

                            Hi Neesha,

Great question! One of the things people love most about our brushes is that they have multiple uses, and using the Blush Brush for a bronzer is one of them, so yes, you can definitely do that! :)

Personally, for applying bronzer, I like a brush that has a bit of a broader head to it, and so my favorite brush for that is our Bold Metals Arched Powder Brush (found here: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod11831007)

The bristles on this brush are our softest yet! And, because they are not as dense or compact, you're able to gently sweep bronzer across your face to really get that sun-kissed look.

                            Hope that helps!
