Most Helpful Positive Review Very Good Hand Creme -- Not Great It's exactly as advertised, which is rare these days. If you have dry hands from the winter or just in general, it's a solid emulsifier to make the hands get back to normal. Yes, they do have some suppleness after use of the hand cream, but I've used better ones for about the same value.
If you've read any of my reviews, you'd know I'm an ingredient junkie. Despite it having methylparaben as one of its preservatives, there are no bad ingredients. They left out the ingredient "fragrance," which is tremendous because that's the last thing you need for dry hands. It still has a nice aroma due to some essential oils and extracts in the salve. I wish allantoin and shea butter were a bit higher on the ingredients list, but honestly they have good emulsifiers as is. So, I can't complain too much.
Lastly, I think it's important to note the lack of greasiness feeling after using a good amount of the product. It absorbs into the skin very well, so less grease and less time waiting for your dry hands to feel better. Overall, as stated in the tittle, it is a very good product. It's not my favorite hand creme for making my hands really, really soft, so that's why it's a 4/5 instead of a 5/5. I would still highly recommend trying it. I would be surprised if you regretted it.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not impressed. While the hand cream does work well and does seem to keep hands hydrated for long periods of time. As the tube seemed to run out, I cut it in half to get out the last bits - but to my surprise, the tube was still about half full. I just simply could not squeeze any more out as it had all stuck to the sides. Very disappointed in the packaging of this. I've never seen this much stuck inside a tube of any other brand. Unlikely to purchase again as I can find similar value out there without this issue.
I'll be going back to using Jack Black's hand cream, which is the same price.

The smell isn't great, it's like a hint of Vick's Vapo Rub,but it dissipates very quickly. My hands are soft and smooth, not greasy at all! I wasn't sure if this would be worth the money but I will be buying it again for sure!
Amazing 5

It's surprising how fast it helps dry hands feel and look better.
Great product 5
PA Lady from Pittsburgh, PA
I used this product several times throughout the day for overdry cracked skin on hands. This moisturizes well and after a few days my hands look and feel great. Goes on smooth and not sticky. Only down side is it has a strong medicinal like scent when initially applied - it does dissipate after a while. I would highly recommend this product!
Works for the whole family! 5

My husband, 5 year old daughter, and myself are really suffering with dry hands right now. With all the hand washing and drying sanitizers, it's bad! My poor daughter's hands are red and cracked, but she's terrified of lotions because they typically burn. NOT THIS ONE! It's the only lotion she puts on willingly and doesn't cry from a burning sensation. Because of that, I'd say it's worth every penny! A little goes a long way.
Light—easily absorbed 5
PJG TX from Austin, TX
How do you say that Kiehl's hand lotion as a Christmas present from my daughter. I've tried lots of hand lotions and salves, but this is different. It doesn't take much, it absorbs quickly and is light. No overwhelming scent, too. I signed up for the auto refill after using
this for 2 weeks.
Ok, alright, AMAZING 5

Alright. I want to preface with the fact that I hate hand creams typically. I don't like the feeling of my hands coated in creamy lotion, and I feel like it attracts excess dust and germs due to the fact that I have such an emollient substance on my hands. HOWEVER. My hands have been cracking due to the fact that Texas weather is so harsh at times, and sanitizer is a must this year. So, enter Keihl's. This hand cream is absolute perfection. SUPER creamy, but dries down in no time. It smells divine, exactly how you'd want a hand cream to smell. My hands feel worlds better after only a couple uses and I wish I had purchase the large tube! Definitely worth every penny!
Love this lotion! 5

I struggle with dry skin and cracked knuckles, especially during winter. I have tried many hand creams but this has to be the best thus far. I am not a huge fan of the smell, but it isn't too strong and therefore I can ignore it. This lotion isn't too greasy, but you can feel that it's working. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good hand or foot cream!
My personal favorite 5
Manologal from ID
This is my favorite hand cream since it is not greasy or sticky. That said, you do need to give it a couple of minutes to soak in. It doesn't take much product to get results, but if hands are still dry then apply in layers so it soaks in. Good ingredients which is why it is more expensive. I've heard rave reviews about L'Occitane hand cream but I find that to be more oily/greasy and it doesn't keep my hands from getting worse. I much prefer this. A less expensive option, with petroleum which I stay away from, is the gold bond healing hand cream which my husband likes.
Reliable stable! 5

A colleague introduced me to this product a few years ago, when I was complaining about dry and cracked hands. I have been using it ever since, especially in the winter.
It dissolves quickly, doesn't leave a greasy film and is not scented, which is rare these days.

I use this product several times during the day. At night, I apply the cream and then put cotton gloves over my hands. Works great!

I recently purchased this hand cream and I love it! I live in Montana and we are DRY! This product is super softening and moisturizing. It lasts too. Nice light herbal scent, not overwhelming, just fresh.
This hand lotion works 5
JMAZ from AZ
This hand lotion has a nice consistency and goes on well. It lasts through hand washing which many other hand lotions don't. My hands had been so dry even after putting other hand lotions on three or four times a day. The Kiehls hand lotion works great and I only have to put it on once or twice a day.

A little goes a long way. It really heals my hands.
Leaves hands soft and silky smooth 5
MrsStacieS from Warsaw, MO
With the pandemic, I've been washing my hands at least 2-3 times more daily than usual. I have dry skin normally, this extra washing has made it worse. This salve is terrific. It's easy to apply, little goes a long way, and it lasts forever. If you just rinse off your hands with hot water or use hand sanitizer, you dont even have to reapply. It forms a literal glove of moisturizer on hands. You can feel it protecting & moisturizing them. The scent is not all that appealing to me, wish it were available in different scents. That's the only complaint I have. Otherwise its 5 stars for moisturizing dry skin that lasts all day.
My go-to 5
Franny from Los Angeles, CA
This product is pricey but it did not sting the cuts on my hands, and I do like that this product doesn't have a strong smell to it. Other lotions with fragrance in it always hurt my hands when they're dry, even the Avaha brand. I can wash my hands or use hand sanitizer a few times, and my hands will still feel moisturized because of this amazing salve. I bought several tubes to give out to my sis and to leave one at work, one at home, and one in my bag.
Results in one day 5
Nani from Boca Raton
I had never tried any Kiel's products. My daughter recommended I use it for my extremely dry hands due to hand sanitizer use and cold weather. This product is fantastic. My skin was so soft the very first morning. I applied it at night to go to bed. It didn't make my hands overly greasy. The results were amazing. Kiehls has a new fan

I love this product because it keep my hands moisturizer all the time, specially now that we have to use so many different things to keep our hands clean this product will keep you moisturize and soft hands.
Worth it! 5
Hannah from CA
After all the hand washing and hand sanitizer applications over the last few months, my hands were already dry. Then when the weather started to get more dry, my hands were noticeably dry. Like cracking and white. I was previously using the Ahava hand cream (which I swore by), but decided to try this because of the good reviews. I'm blown away! My hands feel sooo much better. This is my new go-to hand lotion!!
Like None Other 5
mpc323 from Philadelphia, PA
I really love this product. I have severely dry and chapped hands in the winter to the point that they bleed. This salve leaves my hands soft and has limited the dryness so much. I have tried other hand lotions in the winter but nothing compares to this one!
As good as it gets, trust and use all day! 5
BROSEPH from CA
I have pretty dry hands, from working out, dry CA weather, and always washing hands, ESP now! The hand salve smells great, lasts a long time, even after a few washes! The white glove feel is just awesome, and there's NO oily feeling at all. GOOD STUFF!

With so much hand washing at this time, this cream is invaluable. Might be better if it was not categorized as Men's.
SKIN DRYNESS SOLVED 5
isaacthemurse from Los Angeles, CA
I am a repeat buyer of this product for myself and for my girlfriend as well (she loves the coriander). We couldn't be happier with this product as it gets us through the really dry CA winters! I'll put it on before bed and I'll wake up with moisturized hands. Clean scent with the original but you can't go wrong with the scented ones too. I use this everyday during the fall/winter and every few days during the rest of the year and a 5oz tune will last me a year. I'll be buying this again. And again. And again.
Buying it again and again 5
Meredith from Arkansas
I have tried several hand creams, lotions, and salves. Most leave my hands feeling greasy or slimy for about and hour and then nothing. This
product was not greasy. It absorbs well and doesn't feel slimy when used. With frequent hand washing going on, my hands have not felt dried out. My hands feel and look better than they have in years. I will ALWAYS buy this when I run out.
Best hand cream ever! 5
PaulaM from undisclosed
I have used this product for years and strongly recommend it anyone with dry hands. It is easily absorbed and not oily, but somehow it lasts through multiple hand washings. It has saved my hands from cracking even during the winter. For an e tra boost in winter I'll use cotton gloves at night. My hands feel great in the morning.
Great for naturally dry skin or skin that gets dry in winter 5
Estie4life from Michigan
I've tried so many different hand creams and most didn't work so I used Vaseline to repair my desperate, cracked, dried out hands. However, Vaseline is extremely greasy and messy so I could only use at night, only to make my bedsheets greasy. I found this lotion and I'm pretty much in love. Very similar to the Clarins hand lotion but not as much fragrance and slightly different feel once applied. This stuff has helped my hands so well with all the hand washing (being an esthetician, and of course, during this Pandemic) stress, and cold weather, without being greasy- absorbs fairly quickly with a faint clean eucalyptus/oatmeal-like scent that dissipates quickly after applying (I hate strong-scented lotions). I apply a small amount a couple of times throughout the day as well as at night before bed and that seems to be sufficient. Cracks aren't as prominent, skin feels soft and smooth, doesn't irritate or make my sensitive skin itchy, just supple and healthy. Will continue to buy.
