ok, let me first say that I didn't want to like this stuff! HOWEVER,,,it does work nicely. I have had a dry flaky scalp for 20 years and this stuff cures it in one wash. I hated the smell in the bottle and in the shower,,,HOWEVER the smell changes once your hair dries and it does smell great duri...

Hair loss and scalp acne
It was validating (yet disturbing) to discover others experienced the same problem with this shampoo. I started with the Lavender Mint, because I loved it when my salon used it on me. My hair started falling out, but as I was changing thyroid meds at the time, I did not associate it with the shampoo...

Great for a hot summer day!
I actually only use this shampoo and conditioner during the summer. After all hot, sweaty terrible day it feels real good to hop into a cold shower and slather this all over my scalp. It makes it tingly and happy. I kind of feel like it dries out my hair a little, but then I put the conditioner on and it just smooths and soothes the hair right down. Very refreshing now that our summers are hotter and hotter.
Awesome product
I mistakenly bought the conditioner a couple of months ago on sale and missed the opportunity to buy the shampoo because the sale date ended. I was fortunate to receive a $10 coupon so I made sure I went and purchased the shampoo. Love this shampoo
My New Holy Grail
I have been battling my dry, itchy, flacky scalp for over a decade and this is the one product that fixed it! I use it every 2nd-3rd wash day and for me thats the sweet spot to not cause over drying. I will be repurchasing is the biggest size they have. It has a nice minty smell and it has an intense tingle that I personally enjoy.
I would buy this product again

Recent Change to Cheaper Formula
I've been a fan of this conditioner for decades and it was one of my favorites! Unfortunately when I picked up a new bottle last week, I noticed the ingredients list was signifcantly shorter than my last bottle. Paul Mitchell has significantly cut down the quality of ingredients (no more Tea Tree Leaf Oil, just Tea Tree Leaf Water; and no more aloe, jojoba, rosemary, chamomile, ginger, seaweed, etc.). This is not the same product it used to be and it is now selling for a higher price, save your money and switch :(

Why is Turpentine a listed ingredient???
- Asked by Jay
- Official Answer By Paul Mitchell - Brand EngageOur products are all reviewed by a safety assessor as we use safe and effective ingredients; the surfactants are appropriate for the intended performance of a given product; turpentine oil has always been in the Tea Tree fragrance at very low levels as it is a naturally occurring fragrance component that provides a fresh balsamic warm pine note and the colorants also used at very low levels give the product its appealing soft green appearance. Was this answer helpful to you
