I let this warm for 5 minutes. The rollers were pretty hot. Sprayed dry shampoo on roots. Then hair spray the rest. Then started rolling my hair and left the warmer on the whole time. Great purchase for girls who want large soft curls.
Purchased for my daughter she had a long butterfly cut . I use it to curl her ends before school. I leave them in while she gets ready use it's a 10 mousse. They last all day. I also tried them on my hair. They get pretty hot, easy to use.

I am very happy with this purchase. Quick heat up time. Clips work well at keeping things in place. 5minutes with rollers in place and 5 minutes of cool down makes very nice, loose curls. Good number of rollers gets everything done at once. Most important, it has not burned my scalp or fingers!
I wasted my money
I bought two different sets of Conair hot rollers (this set & another). It smells like it's burning each time I've tried to use these and they won't heat up all the way. I can't get a refund from Ulta or Conair. I'm sure it's a great product but I won't ever know.
