This is a really good hair kit. It would make an amazing gift, or a great starter kit for yourself. It's got everything you need, starting with a travel size Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector, which was a totally new product to me. This was honestly a game changer! I'm definitely going to buy a full si...ze of it when it runs out. I noticed a difference immediately. My hair felt smoother upon application. I couldn't stop running my fingers through it while it was sitting. It's a good size, I would say I'm going to get at least 6-8 uses out of it, and since it's recommended to use it 1-2 times per week, it will last a while. It was so satisfying to wash it out too! The travel size No. 4 shampoo lathers up really nicely and makes my hair feel so soft, even before conditioner. It is very foamy and has a pleasant citrusy smell. The way it lathers up feels really luxurious. The No. conditioner is one of the best conditioners I've ever tried. I have fine hair, so it's really important to me that my conditioner doesn't weigh my hair down or make me feel greasy. It makes my hair smooth and soft, and it doesn't weigh my hair down at all. In fact, it adds volume compared to other conditioners. After using them for over a week, they're both only around a quarter gone. Because of the way the shampoo lathers up, you don't need to use too much. Depending on how much you wash your hair (I do every other day myself) I could see the shampoo and conditioner lasting a month or more. The No. 5 scalp treatment is a game changer too! It made my scalp feel so clean. I struggle with itching and flaking, and this treatment made a huge difference. It wasn't quite as effective as a medicated shampoo, but if you're like me and you HATE using medicated shampoo because of how drying it is to hair, then this will be a game changer for you as well. This item is the smallest product in the kit. It is just a sample. I think I will only get 4-5 uses out of it, but it is enough to know I want to try it again. Finally, my hair is finished off with the two full size products in the kit, the No. 6 bond smoother and No. 7 bonding oil. These products are legendary, and for good reason. They are honestly unrivaled in terms of smoothing and frizz reduction. It's amazing value that the kit includes both in full size, because normally they're $30 each! The No. 6 bond smoother is great. It provides good heat protection, my hair feels really healthy and protected when I blowdry it. My hair is light and voluminous, and it keeps my hair from frizzing for days. Even on a rainy day, my hair was smooth and fresh. The pump bottle is really nice, it's easy to pump and dispenses the perfect amount of product. My one complaint is that a little bit of product sticks in the nozzle when you pump it and there is no way to get it out. But it's still a really nice product. The No. 7 bonding oil is perfection! It is so smoothing. I'm normally really hesitant to use oils on my fine hair, but this one doesn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy at all. I also love the way the bottle is designed, you have to tap it to get the product out, and it makes it really easy to get the exact amount you want. Honestly I think they will last me forever because I only use 2 pumps of the bond smoother and 2-3 "taps" of the bonding oil per wash. I really appreciate how all the products work together to support my hair. Ultimately this set is AMAZING value and I highly recommend it for both gifting and personal use.
