Start by applying to a clean lid. Hold marker horizontally to use the side of the tip. Apply along the top lash line beginning in the inner corner of the eye working outward. At the end of upper lash line, draw a thin line extending towards end of the brow.

Dries out too fast
I bought this liner and I am very disappointed. First line goes on great but then it's too dry to do a second line, no matter how many times I shake it. It literally has to sit overnight in order for the liquid to fall to the tip. And I store it horizontally. I would not recommend. I've been waitin...

What's with all the negative reviews on this liner?? I LOVE
This is the best felt-tip liner I've used. I am perplexed by all the poor reviews. I guess there are a lot of variables to consider when it comes to make up. I find this liner to be super easy to apply. The black is BLACK. It lasts all day long and does not smudge. It is the only liner I've used since I found it about two years ago. I line the upper lid. I do not use this in the waterline, so I cannot comment on its use in that area. I love it!

I wish they made this in a waterproof version and an actual smudge proof Formula. They claim it lasts all day, but for me it transferred and smudged regardless if you wear a eye primer or not, regardless if it's hot or cold outside, regardless if you set it with something or not. My liner did have a pointed tip on it and went on well and saturated. However less then an hour and you'll see black smudges under your brow bone.

When I got this, it was great at first and now, just like all the other reviews, mine has dried up. I can get liquid from the thicker part but the tip is totally useless. L'oreal, come on. You guys know liquid eyeliner and this was a miss.
