Fantastic Iron for Perfectly Smooth Hair!
I recently tried out this chi "vibes on the edge" hairstyling iron and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! Not only is it visually appealing with its vibrant colors, but it also performs like a dream. This iron was gifted to me, however, my review is 100% honest. I liked how this iron heats ...

May be good for someone else
I have very thick, naturally curly hair. I've always used Chi brand and decided to try this one because I straighten and do beach waves with my current Chi. There's something about the original Chi that the latest models can't seem to live up to. The edge model is not as dense or bulky, but for m...

It just wasn't for me
Hair Type Wavy Hair
It just personally wasn't for me. For the price i expected more but it heated up slow and didn't heat up high enough to my liking. It would straighten my hair but not how i like it. Overall it was pretty mid. If you are gifting this to a teenager who is just getting into makeup and doing their hair i highly recommend it But for those of you looking for a salon quality straighter definitely look into other straighteners.
Waste of Money
I bought this on a whim when I was in store after my ghd kicked the bucket (after 8 years!) and I could not hate it more. I wish I'd looked up reviews while in there. My biggest issue is that this thing is constantly pulling my hair out or breaking my hair. My hair gets stuck where the plate meets the shaft of the straightner if I grab too big of a section. I dont feel like it even straightens that well or even curls that well. Unfortunately I got rid of the box or I'd be returning it.
Pulls out hair
I love how straight my hair comes out and how i can adjust the temperature gage so my hair doesn't burn. My main issue is that this is the only flat iron that pulls so much of my hair out. My hair gets caught in the grooves EVERY SINGLE TIME
Terrible
Literally burns my hands and scalp whenever i try to use it. My hair gets stuck in it and it rips out. I have to put it on a piece of hair 3 or 4 times for it to actually straighten. Ive had it for a year or so because it was so expensive but its actually the worst straightener ive ever used
Don't waste your money
Hair Type Straight Hair
Not sure how the CHI Vibes On the Edge iron is getting rave reviews. My hair has looked like crap ever since I bought it…dull, slightly frizzy and with barely-there waves that fall out very quickly. My hair does not look sleek and frizz-free. In fact, it's giving 1970s Yoko Ono vibes. I bought the CHI Vibes to replace my beloved Babyliss C-styler that died after 10 years of loyal service (unfortunately the Babyliss model was discontinued), so I do know how to properly use a curved-edge straightener without getting burned. However, the CHI Vibes simply does not work well and is NOT worth the high price.
