It's a meh
Shine is improved when first applied but then looks like it wears off. I dislike it compared to a loose powder. I can't say I notice much difference with wearing it. I will be returning it and trying something else.

I am a huge fan of Hourglass, particularly their powders. I've been using the Ambient Lighting Powders, powder blushes, and bronzing powders consistently every time I do my makeup for the last five-plus years. I mention this to highlight my deep appreciation for Hourglass's powder formulations, so you can imagine my excitement to try this product. Unfortunately, this powder has caused my makeup to separate terribly each time I've used it. I have normal skin with no active acne, and I haven't encountered a powder that performs this poorly in years. In contrast, my Charlotte Tilbury powder performs much better, and I have yet to find a way to make this work for me.

If you were on the fence about purchasing this due to the price I can tell you it is worth it. absolutely flawless I use it to set whatever is on my face and it looks so natural I have gotten so many compliments when I use this with my makeup. it keeps the oils from looking oily and I just have a natural luminous to my face. sleek packaging, slips right in back and poof gets perfectly under my eyes

Not my favorite
Looked pretty upon application for about 30 minutes, before badly separating on my nose and cheeks. I tried with several kinds of foundations underneath.
