Great addition to the Roma Line

The fragrance opens with a vibrant touch of cardamom and...

A little too tropical for me...
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] *I was incentivized with this product for my fair and honest review.* I'm often wary of tropical-noted fragrances. In this case, we're talking about coconut. I'm typically not a fan of it. That made me a little nervous prior to receiving th...

Smells like confidence
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I'm going to be straight up - this smells amazing. First spray is sweet kind of fruity, then it dries down into this smooth vanilla coconut vibe that's clean but still sexy. It's one of those scents you can throw on anytime and feel well put together. Day,night, chill day or just stepping out - it works. I've gotten many compliments and it lasts on me without being overpowering If you like smelling fresh with a bit of edge and confidence this fragrance is it. Valentino did their thing with this one. Definitely staying in my rotation.

A classy and well-blended scent that stands out.
A smooth, elegant fragrance that feels refined without trying too hard. What I like most about this scent is how balanced it is. It's not overpowering, yet it's noticeable enough to draw compliments. It works especially well for evenings, date nights, or cooler weather. The overall vibe is sophisticated and confident rather than loud or flashy. If you love fragrances that announce themselves loudly in a room, this isn't that type. It's intimate and elegant instead of explosive. If you prefer a refined, warm fragrance that feels polished and versatile, Valentino Roma Purple is a great choice.

This is the scent of the season!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Valentino Born In Roma Purple scent is out of this world . It is a sweet, strong, and long lasting fragrance. It is perfect for the warmer weather. The packaging is stunning as well. It settles beautifully on the skin and does not stain clothes. The price is obviously going to be at the higher point in range, but you're paying for quality stuff here.

Synthetic Coconut Bomb
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Am I just extremely sensitive to coconut, or did I receive a bad bottle? Who knows but holy moly is the coconut strong in this. You'd think that in a purple bottle the lavender would stand out more but after one spray, I was enveloped in a sickening cloud of synthetic coconut. I do not get any other notes from this — the coconut overpowers all. The bottle is beautiful, pump delivers a good spray, but none of this matters to me as the smell was SOOO cloyingly coconut-y. The sweetness improves a little over time, it starts smelling like you had spilled gas station piña colada on yourself after a couple hours (if that was a thing). Other reviews don't seem to mind it as much as me, so maybe i'm just sensitive to synthetic coconut smells, but that is the only thing I get from this. I had previously tried Valentino Green Stravaganza and really enjoyed that as a spring scent; The only common ground I can see is the bottle design. I definitely think you need to have reasonable expectations going in, and DEFINITELY recommend testing first. It's 100% a summer scent, and I will try again then just to confirm.
