Long lasting and oddly strong

* I received this product from here to give my fair review * To start off, the packaging was fine and I got this product without any damages. Nothing spectacular or worth noting really. The bottle is a nice glass bottle with a nice metal cap that has a good weight to it so feels quite premium. Almo...st similar to my Blu de Chanel Parfum that I have but without the magnets. As the title suggests, this is a long lasting product. To me it seems like Mont Blanc mixed their Legend Red with something like Jimmy Chu Blue because it definitely smells like a traditional men cologne with aqua type of cool and fresh scent but is also sweet like their Legend Red. This is more of a youthful summer and spring fragrance unlike the Legend Red which I remember having a bit of a sophisticated scent to it both initially and after a little while. After applying about 3-4 sprays, you can definitely smell it yourself but also have others close to you smell it. But as the day passes, it starts to get too much and feels like only you are smelling it which can be a little suffocating. I couldn't really find a good balance of having it not be too strong over the day and still have the hint of this cologne around me. So this is what I meant by the second half of the tittle. It's not like other scents that is just strong and doesn't last or is strong throughout the day. My experience could also be a little hindered due to my pollen allergy which just made it a little difficult for me to breathe in general and having this on me all day so keep that in mind when you spray this on yourself. As for the value, I definitely this is worth the price it charges especially considering the competition (both in fragrance and quality of the bottle). However I personally would wait for some deals to have the effective price drop down to $80-90 for the 100 ml (3.3 oz) bottle instead of paying the full $115 or so that they are advertising everywhere I saw. All in all I would give this product between 4 and 4.5 because for me, at my age (under 30) and where I work, this is perfectly fine. I don't need a super strong cologne but also can't work with most of the EDT out in the market as they just won't last long enough in summers at least in the southern end of US. So this is a perfect mix for that.
