Great scent with impressive staying power!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've always thought Valentino makes some great fragrances, and Born in Roma Uomo Eau de Toilette is no exception. I really like the combination of fresh, woody, and slightly spicy notes. It has a masculine scent without being overly heavy, and there's something about it that feels a little more sophisticated than your typical everyday cologne. One of the things that impressed me most was how long the fragrance lasted. I've tried plenty of colognes that smell great when you first put them on but seem to disappear after a couple of hours. That wasn't my experience with this one. It has good staying power, which is something I really appreciate, especially when you're paying designer fragrance prices. I also like how versatile it is. It's nice enough to wear for a dinner out or special occasion, but I wouldn't hesitate to wear it on a regular day either. It has a distinctive scent without being so unusual that you'd only want to wear it occasionally. The bottle design is another plus. I love the dark glass and studded detailing. It looks and feels like a higher-end fragrance, which is exactly what I'd expect from Valentino. Overall, I'm really impressed with this one. Sweet herby salty easy date night grab
I really like this one; it might be just a touch sweeter than what I normally go for, but not enough to turn me away from it. It has a sweet/herby/salty vide that then turns into woody citrus dry down. I think this is great for someone mid 20s through early 30s, but my 40 year old self digs it. Easy to wear, great for date night. Solid compliment getter. 4.5/5
