Both lovely shades!
I have both shades that are currently available as minis, Mauve and Soft Rose. On me they look nearly identical, except that Mauve is cool toned while Soft Rose is warm toned. These are very comfortable. I did my SIL's wedding makeup with the shade Mauve and she ended up buying the full size lipstic...

I'm melting!
Texture and taste are great, but it MELTS very easily, creating a gooey mess. Much of the product was wasted due to this issue. Terrible for travel as the consistency is unreliable, at best. I love Tarte products but this one needs more work.

the color turn brown if layers on to thick, to have the pinkish color you must dab it on the rub in. for a nude/ brown apply like any other lip product. Melts easy so keep in cool place.
Favorite lip product EVER
I never write reviews but felt the need to share how amazing this one is. This is my favorite lip product ever!! It feels so smooth and looks amazing, and is subtle enough to wear everyday to work while also looking elegant for a night out. @tarte please never discontinue this lol I'd be devastated! :)

Gorgeous
This color is one shade darker than my normal lips (they're like a pale pink) and its beautiful. It can be subtle or noticable depending on how much you use. Its genuinely gorgeous and i find myself reaching for it more and more.
