- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEHey there! It works great for keeping makeup matte and smooth all day. Most people love how it blurs pores and controls shine, though a few mention it can look a bit white on deeper skin tones. How do you know which color to choose?
- Asked by Kell
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEHey there! The translucent powder is a universally wearable shade to wear over bare skin to blur pores and lines or lightly powder over your foundation to set and blur your complexion for a smooth flawless finish. The banana powder is a yellow-toned finishing powder that can be used for brightening complexion, setting, and baking concealer for extended wear. The shade you choose depends on your goal! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Does this powder have flashback?
- Asked by Madison
- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHi Madison, Our Banana Powder does not have flashback. However, for our Translucent Powder we recommend it to be used lightly with a brush tapping off excess and going over your make up very lightly to prevent any flashback. Was this answer helpful to you

Love
So my review is for the banana setting powder. I LOVE it but my one and only complaint is the size, good lord they could give a little more product. Due to the size I go through it way faster then all my high end setting powders. I mean I used it a handful of times and it's already almost empty...

Banana powder
I haven't tried the translucent powder but I'm on my second jar of the banana one. I love it! I have fair/light skin and the color is fine. I also have dry skin and it doesn't dry me out.
Literally sucks

DO NOT PURCHASE!!

Would not recommend!!! Had horrible flashback ! It ruined my makeup and I had to redo it.
It's good but I feel like the cons outweigh the pros
I got the translucent shade and I wasn't a big fan. You definitely can't use it for baking and it has a bit of an odd smell. It is good for when I want to touch up my matte foundation though and it comes with a cushion but it's not really good for what it's made for. It also comes with a plastic seal sticker over the holes so the powder dosn t to all over.
Staple item for my Very Fair complexion
Will be purchasing my 2nd container. Have very fair skin with neutral undertones. Plus I am over 40 yrs old w/fine lines . My favorite setting powder!! I use it lightly with powder brush. Works great for me. I use the Maybelline Fit Me translucent powder ... for comparison. Anything else leaves me too yellow and "powdery ". If you have peach fuzz and dry patches...This powder is "noticeable " but not bad at all. Recently I decided to wear foundation with mask at work. I used my LA girl HD illuminate Foundation with this setting powder. It held up great. Very little transfer. that was with primer, 1: light-layer foundation . And setting spray.
