Great Product with a Blurring Effect
As someone with a medium skin tone featuring warm olive undertones, I am always on the lookout for setting powders that not only complement my complexion but also provide a flawless finish. After discovering the Ultra-Blur Talc-Free Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Honey, I can confidently say it...

Not for sensitive skin
I received this product for free from Laura Mercier via Bzzagent in exchange for my honest review. I've been wanting to try this setting powder for the longest time. I'll start off with the positive. It helps with shine if you have oily skin. I used this over sunscreen and helped give me a matte fin...

not good for fair skin
this powder has the potential to be amazing, but the translucent shade turns me yellow. its not a true translucent! I wear shade 00 in dior foundation for example, and this turned me into a yellowish orange color. very dissapointing and not shade inclusive.
Great Powder
I have oily skin, even at my over 70 age. This powder is powerful and takes less than my other powders. It stays on and sets my makeup, of which i wear a lot. i feel like it does not clump on my aging skin.
Love!
I finally got this today and wanted to get the mini one to try before comitting. My skin is combination with large pores. My skin has never looked so smooth. I really like this powder. It feels really light weight on my skin and makes my makeup look flawless!
I like the original one better
This one just doesn't do it for me.
Good Product, Annoying Packaging
I love the product! The setting powder is very fine, and allows me to set all my makeup without looking overly cakey. I often wear my makeup for around 2-5 hours, and I find no smudge when wearing this powder! Mostly, I use it to set in my eyeliner, which has worked to GREAT success. The shade that I'm using (Translucent Honey) looks great on my skin as well. However, the packaging sucks. Like really, SUCKS. As mentioned before, the powder is very fine, but it forms little mounds on the top, when you shake it a bit. Although these clumps are very easy to get rid of, it is VERY annoying to be slowly shaking the product (without spilling any, which I end up always doing) in order to make it go back in the container. Additionally, I often bring my powder with me when I'm out and about, which makes it shake, leading it to form the aforementioned mounds of fine powder. This happens EVERYTIME I go out. Honestly, I have no idea why the company hasn't implemented something like twist mechanism where one can actually stop the powder from going to the top. However, these problems are all worth it, as the powder is VERY good!
