I would buy this product again and again!!!!!
I recently tried the Laura Mercier ,Setting Powder, and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. From the first time I used it, I could tell this was one of those rare products that truly lives up to everything it promises—and somehow still manages to be even better. The texture is incredibly lightw...

I really wanted to like this product
I REALLY wanted to like this product, but I was underwhelmed at best, then annoyed. Application— it is recommended on the packaging to use a "velour" powderpuff to apply the product and is noted that it's sold separately. Not a deal breaker, however the price point at which this product is placed wa...

Natural looking color correction

I received the Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur Talc-Free Longwearing Translucent Loose Setting Powder – Mint complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. My first impression was that it was very finely milled and weightless. I don't notice any caking or heaviness. The mint shade is subtle and works to gently neutralize redness without leaving a noticeable green cast. It looked natural, rather than like an obvious color correction. This is a great option if you want a blurring setting powder that looks natural, feels lightweight, and offers a little extra tone-correcting benefit. I'd especially recommend it if you struggle with redness or want a more perfected, soft-focus finish without heaviness.

Very high-quality, breathable setting powder. It successfully reduces shine and helps to set makeup without adding a lot of texture. My foundation tends to transfer a LOT and this does an impressive job of reducing that - much more so than my setting spray I normally use. I'm normally afraid to put setting powder anywhere near my eyes, but I did a tiny bit with this and didn't find that it accentuated wrinkles. I do find that it's very easy to make a mess with it - the holes you tap it through are very large - but whatever. I don't really notice any color correction from it, but I've personally never been impressed by any green color corrector.

I don't use setting powder often because I'm always worried about looking dry or cakey. I usually only use it all over my face when I wear foundation, a couple times a week.I have been using it almost daily for my under eyes and have found it doesn't crease. I'm medium in the summer and light-medium in the winter, so I was a little worried this might be too dark or orange, but it actually blends well and doesn't oxidize. I didn't try the brand's puff since it's pricey and sold separately, but I use one from a value pack without issue. I also cut the film in half so less powder comes out, which helps a lot. I've found that lightly tapping it on with a puff and then going over it with a light brushing gives a really natural finish. It's finely milled and makes my skin look smooth. I did get a little oily after a few hours, but that might be because I'm using a light amount. I don't use powder enough to fully compare it to others, but overall I think it's a really nice option and looks great on the skin.

I'm always amazed by the quality of Laura Mercier products specifically setting powders. This one is a new favorite of mine. Just as expected, it is soft as butter in the container and only requires the smallest amount for best results. I love how the color correcting is incorporated into the powder. My foundation tense to turn a little pink after application but this was able to neutralize the intensity of that making my skin appear more natural. Highly recommend.
A must have for your daily routine!

Laura Mercier Translucent powder is a must add to your routine. Its light and easy to blend into skin. I was a little concerned it would settle into my fine lines and wrinkles, but it set very naturally and evens out completion while controlling shine. I use on my bare skin as well as over top of concealer. I love this product!
