Firstly I want to say the only thing I wish this bar of shampoo would have more of a lather. Now everything else the smell is fantastic I love the smell of tea tree and it definitely has a wonderful smell my hubs has been using this. He loves the way it makes his scalp feel after every wash he definitely loves that he's not using much product. Normally with a bottle of shampoo you use a certain amount you just rinse this and lather on your scalp. It's pretty convenient he's been using it for a month and hasn't been even used half of the bar yet. Definitely recommend this if you want to use less waist you don't have to worry about a bottle to throw out!

I have previously used the Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo and conditioner and it worked for me so as soon as I realized this was the bar version I was excited to try it. The packaging is recyclable and contains zero packaging; it's a vegan product that has a 12 month life span. The actual bar is round and light mint color. I it says to rub the bar between your wet hands to make lather which one has to massage into hair and scalp which is how I used it. It made lather and I was able to wash my hair. I have long hair and it's a bit dry so I need to make sure it's conditioned well. I noticed that it wasn't enough to wash my hair with this shampoo. I need a good conditioner after because it almost feels like my hair is stripped of my natural oils. My hair felt very dry and hard instead of the softness I normally get after using my normal routine. I did a mask after to help out my hair but it still wasnt as smooth and shiny as my hair looks. I was a bit disappointed because as mentioned I've used tea tree shampoo before and it was fine on my hair. I felt the "tingle" of the shampoo and felt that my scalp felt refreshed but the outcome of my hair wasn't what I need. I like the scent of the bar. I had to pair this with a conditioner and a mask from a complete different company (every time I've used it I waited to see if the outcome was different but my hair really needed the conditioner and mask after). This may be a great bar for some but unfortunately it doesn't meet the needs of my hair. I have it the two stars because the company made a cruelty free, vegan product with zero plastic and it's recyclable so they are being conscious of our environment as well. The oils in this product (tea tree, lavender and peppermint ) are very good for the hair. I'm still giving this more of chance to see if I just need time doe my hair to adjust; if that's the case I will return to update my review.

This product smells pretty good, though it doesn't lather in my hair as much as I'd like, I think it is still effective in cleaning my hair. The ingredients seem good too. I would consider repurchasing.
