Immediately before tanning apply St. Tropez Body Moisturizer to any dry areas (elbows, knees, ankles, feet & hands) to protect. Apply your St. Tropez Tan as instructed. For best results, moisturize daily and exfoliate once or twice a week.

What would happen if I applied this all over my entire body before self tanning?

- Official Answer By St. TropezWe do not suggest that, as you would not get the best result. However, it's perfect to prep the tricky areas. Prior to application, use the Body Moisturizer moisturize those tricky areas like hands, elbows, knees, wrists and ankles. Then pump the mousse onto your mitt and using long, sweeping strokes apply starting at your ankles and working your way up. Ensure all areas are covered before lightly applying the excess tan left on your mitt to your hands and feet. If you feel you do not have enough formula remaining on your mitt, just use a small half pump for hands and feet.Was this answer helpful to you

Does this lotion help with smell of self tanners?

- Official Answer By St. TropezAll of our Self Tan products are formulated to eliminate any 'self tan smell', so you will not need an additional product for that particular issue. However, this moisturizer is great to use in prepping for self tan application by applying to dry areas like hands, elbows, knees and feet. Can this product be used for extending a self tan/spray tan (sunless tanner)?..and is it 'safe' to use daily if i self tan regularly (meaning: will it not strip away my self tan color?)...just was trying to find the best product that you would recommend & that would be 'safe' to use as a daily moisturizer for my self-tanned skin that doesn't have the ingredients that would strip away my self tan color....thank you!

I put this on before bed and omg I wish I hadn't. Thr smell kept me awake. I ended up taking a shower at 1 am because the smell was making me nauseous. I even changed my sheets. Smells luxurious!
SMELLS SO LUXURIOUS! Simply put, its hydrating lotion. The difference is that it claims to lack certain ingredients that most lotions have, which strip away the self tanner. It doesn't tan, just keeps skin moisturized. I bought it precisely for that reason. I need a good moisturizer during the winter.And the scent!!! Love it.
So lightweight and smells fresh
For anyone thats looking for a lotion to use that isn't gonna interfere with their tan, buy this. I hate greasy lotions and this one is sooo light, sets instantly, and it smells amazing, like a day at the beach. You could use this to moisturize dry areas before applying tanner or use it to keep the skin hydrated after, it definitely feels like there's no oils or anything heavy in it. I use it on my hands after washing them too for some hydration without the grease. Love it!

I broke out all over my chest, shoulders and back using this. Very sad because it seemed to be working well but literally covered in acne after. I would recommend if you don't have sensitive skin

I really enjoyed the thin consistency of this product! I don't have super dry skin so it was the perfect consistency I needed. I feel it made my tan go on so much smoother than it does normally with other lotions. It pairs amazingly with their new Ashley Graham self tanner and I cant say enough good things about that product!!! I'm a beginner and both products together are *chef's kiss*

This product is to be used after a spray tan or self tanner. It should be used every day to extend the tan and make it fade more evenly. It smells like other St Tropez products, pretty good smell. I would buy a big bottle of this if they sold it.
