Vacation Super Stick Face Sunscreen is convenient, especially for reapplying over makeup, but it's not totally amazing for me. The stick format is nice and it does glide on easily without making a mess or pulling at your skin. It blends in fine with no white cast and doesn't completely ruin makeup, which is a plus. It also doesn't feel super greasy, so at least it's not that heavy, sticky sunscreen feeling. The scent is actually pleasant and not overly "sunscreen-y," which I appreciate.That said, from what I've found, it doesn't seem to be water resistant, which is pretty disappointing if you're sweating or spending time outside. Because of that, I don't really trust it for anything beyond casual, low-exposure days. It's okay for quick touch-ups, but I wouldn't rely on it as my main sunscreen, especially for active or outdoor days. I wanted to try VACATION INC Super Stick SPF 45. Scent: sunblock scented but not overpowered Texture: goes on smooth My skin type and age: combination and late 30s This spf stick has a unique shape compared to other spf sticks. It's shape like a teardrop, which makes it easier to apply around the eyes and nose. It goes on clear and when it came time to reapply,I was able to without it feeling cakey. The SPF is pretty lightweight after application, so my face was able to breathe. This spf doesn't leave an oily feel behind once applied. It washes off with ease and doesn't leave any residue behind. This sunscreen smells like the beach and nostalgia in a bottle! The coconut scent smells just like old school sunscreen without being too sunscreen-y, if that makes any sense. It's the perfect sun stick- no white cast, feels silky smooth and not at all sticky. I love the convenience of putting this in my purse and being able to reapply throughout the day as needed too. The unique shape is really fantastic also! I love the pointed end for getting into the different contours of my face.
