Background: I have had bad skin (not cystic acne) my entire life and my acne/redness is especially brought out during times of stress or menstruation. I have used so many face masks (most of which look promising but don't really clear your skin) and SO MANY acne medications. My skin is sensitive. T...he kind of sensitive where if I try on clothes and the collars rub against my face as I take them on and off my skin becomes reddened and puffy. My skin is oily but also easily becomes dry and can break out from that as well. Positive Review: If I actually like this mask I honestly don't know who wouldn't (I'm picky and so is my skin!). Im assuming people complaining above wanted a "mask" that smells nice but doesn't do too much. The tingling means its REMOVING impurities-the goal of any good mask. Acne is created from bacterial infections in the skin so to remove that with a mask you are going to feel a SOME sensation. My skin mildly burned for 10 out of the 20 min but not anything intolerable. It felt like the standard burn with any over the counter acne treatment with acid in it (often found at Clinique and other well-known, trusted brands.) The smell was also nice. Pros: All the impurities (there are alot) were brought to the surface of my skin). When I took the mask off my skin was noticeably tighter and brighter(something many products claim but few accomplish). I actually felt more relaxed after a few minutes of having it on. This is difficult as I am extremely stressed and I don't believe that a mask can actually relieve my real-life stresses (but it did!). I usually roll my eyes when I read statements on a mask. THIS ONE REALLY WORKS,for me, at least :) THE NEXT DAY: my skin is still tight, bright, clear, and silky! Not too oily and not dry or red. Cons: mask is too big for my face but I folded mine to fit my face and it worked perfectly. I actually used the extra material at the bottom to fold under my chin so I could also clear acne there (yay!)
