How To Use

To get started:

  • Fill the built-in water tank with filtered distilled water (using provided bottle) and adjust heat to preferred setting.
  • Use the straightener in the direction of the arrows.
  • Use on dry hair.

For straightening hair:

  • For best results, section hair and glide SteamPod down slowly to straighten. The thinner the section, the more precise the result.
  • Take each section and slowly move the straightener downwards from root to tip, making sure the arrows on the tool are pointing down to achieve optimal results.

For creating waves:

  • Pre-comb and section hair.
  • For natural waves, place a small section in the middle of the plates and wrap it around the tool.
  • Then rotate the tool while slowly gliding downwards, making sure the arrows on the tool are pointing down to achieve optimal results.
  • Let the waves cool off for a few minutes before either shaking or brushing them for a very natural-looking result.

Works amazing for me and worth the price

I was unsure about buying this, took the plunge, and am glad I did. Contrary to the other reviewers, I really don't find it that heavy or difficult to use. Note that it comes with a comb attached, but you can take the comb out. I have finer hair and I turn into a frizz ball when dry, regardless of q...

The original was better

I have curly 3b/3c hair and I have the Redken version of this that came out years ago and it has been the only straightener I've had because of how good it is. I tried this out because I'm gonna have to retire mine soon and as much as I love the convenience of the water reservoir being in the flat i...

I'm so in love with this straightener. I have 3a 3b that is very fine and nothing has worked for me in the past. I have spent countless dollars trying new products and straighteners that left my hair looking fried and frizzy. NONE of them compare to this. It's worth every dollar and is definitely a confidence booster ! I wake up in the morning and my my hair is still pin straight and looks soooo smooth and healthy! I got tons of complement when I went to work cause everyone noticed a major difference !

Silky Smooth

I was hesitant to buy this product for the price point alone. Needless to say, it was worth the money. I typically do buy the more expensive hair staightners and this one is by far superior than all the other high end brands I've bought. The final result after use is what I can only describe as that salon quality hair. so shiny, silky and smooth! Usually only achieved at salons. The product isn't heavy and doesn't tangle in my hair. very easy to use.

Not worth it, Paul mitchell is better

Just got this in the mail and used it. It is very heavy and bulky. I recently just bought the dyson airwrap but wanted to try this also. I perfer the dyson over this and will be returning. For one it is very heavy and it's inconvient to constantly refill the water tank. The biggest con is it pulls my hair out. It snags on the corner of the blades. For a hair tool this expensive I wish it didn't do that. I like my Paul mitchell smooth flat iron 100 times more than this. For reference I have medium length thick wavy hair. I think this would work better for textured hair.

Only Straightener I Use Now

The steam really makes a difference for me. My hair doesn't feel fried. My hair doesn't break. The biggest thing for me is the comb so I don't end up having hair falling out for bigger sections.
